Thanks, but I think I'm going to stop playing TF2 for now, way too complicated.

"It hasn't changed much, they just added things"
Anyway, I played through Portal today to show it off to a couple of friends. They spent the entire time complaining about it. I guess it's not a social game. |
I watched Ridg3 complete it in just under an hour.
Fuck, that cunt loves to gloat. |
Not even my best time either I believe.
|
I just got a copy of Silent Hill 2.
This. Game. Sucks. Balls. The story so far sucks, and the way you move the person sucks, and how you have to observe everything to get to the next area sucks. Demons aren't half bad though. Adn the graphics are decent. I don't know, what do you guys think about Silent Hill games? |
:
:
Only drawback was it was very short. 3-4 hours, give or take. |
Silent Hill games are okayish?
You've been playing the wrong ones, my friend. |
:
Have. No. Idea. What. Good. Is. |
I remember trying Silent Hill: Home-something, I can't remember, but I thought it was pretty shitty. The older Silent Hills were pretty scary though.
|
Yeah, anything after 3 isn't a real Silent Hill game.
2>1>3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Everything else |
I've never played any of the Silent Hill games at all, should I start with 2 or 1? Is it a continuous story?
|
1 and 3 follow the same continuity, 2 is a side story.
2 is a must play, but 1 and 3 are also really really great. |
Is 4 any good? (Or whatever it's called. Was it 'The Room' or something?)
|
Someone hasn't been paying attention.
|
I liked The Room. It wasn't as good as the rest, but still enjoyable. And fairly creepy.
Homecoming for the 360 is a total turd, though. Don't even think about that one. |
4 has some genuinely good moments, and a lot of quite clever ideas but ultimately bad pacing, difficulty and repetition kill it.
The second half of the game being the first half chased by an invincible pistol wielding freak with mommy issues is a good idea in principle but.... |
No. You said it was bad.
|
It is bad.
But it could have been good. |
Played Time Splitters 2 last night.
Its fucking amazing, brings back good memories however I don't remember it being so fricking hard to controll! |
Almost finished with RDR, I'm in the final missions now.
Goddamn I'm enjoying it now! |
Avatar Adventurers Online. I generally shy away from the indie games on XBLA just...because, but this one is so bad it's good. It's an MMORPG that uses your dashboard avatar, costs 240 points, and has pretty much every feature an MMO should, minus a subscription fee and decent graphics. Fun to play with friends.

Dino Run. Got through the Inasnity Challenge and collected all the eggs, now I'm just hanging around to collect the trophies.

I just checked out the demo for AudioSurf, and then immediately went and bought it. It's very fun.
It's on sale on Steam right now if you haven't already bought it. |
I just beat Red Dead Redemption. Wow.
Sadly, I knew that John Marston was going to die in the end because my friend (Who's a dickhead sometimes) spoiled it for me, but none the less, I thought the ending itself was really bad. John could have got away, but he just went there and died. I wasn't expecting that at first. I thought the final mission would've been a big fight against Dutch and John would've died in there. That would've been better in my opinion. Anyways, RDR was definitely hands down one of the best games I've ever played, now I just gotta beat the Undead Nightmare DLC and I'm done with RDR. (I've had it since October but haven't got around playing it much.) |

I feel it :
So who's your favourite character? For me: Mono Pro, then Eraser Pro, then Double Vision (Casual) DV is a seriously overlooked character. TREMBLE BEFORE MY MULTITASKING ABILITY |
:
My favourite character is Mono Pro as well! I'm not very good at tracking all the other character's weird abilities, and just having one colour to pay attention to is much less frustrating. e: Also, I'm hankering for a simple, fun (and cheap) FPS that I can run on my terrible PC. I don't fancy something like Half-Life, just something shooty and full of explosions. I was thinking of Far Cry, but any suggestions are welcome. |

http://www.quakelive.com/ |
Hm, I'm not really after a multiplayer FPS right now, but Quake Live looks interesting; I've bookmarked that site for later.
|
Well try Deus Ex then. It's pretty much the pinnacle of the pre-Source singleplayer FPS. Or one of the System Shocks.
EDIT: Wow, can't believe I forgot Call of Cthulhu. Though that's far from 'simple'. |
This shitty ass flash game that dares to call itself a silent hill game.
NGH. No demons, no riddles, and the twist ending was that the main charector was the murderer that killed his family (who he was just talking to minutes ago) |
:
Call of Cthulhu looks pretty interesting too, I'll have to look at that sometime. |
I'm making a Re-make of Abe's Oddysee on LittleBigPlanet2 :). You can see the Beta of the GameSpeak already :). My PSN is: thiagomagnogomes
I hope you enjoy :D |
