Jeez, guys. SPOILERS!

These episodes can be streamed illegally within an hour of their original air time. You have no excuse for not being 100% up-to-date.

Having a life does not count.

It's not that. I just prefer to wait until series are over, then download and watch the episodes as a block.

scrabface and MA: I'm curious as to how long it took you to really like Firefly. I remember that the first time I watched it, my thoughts for the first few episodes were 'I don't get why everyone raves about this so much', but by the end of the series I was devastated that I'd run out of episodes to watch. Then there was my ex, who sat through a couple of episodes with a 'Go on, impress me' expression on his face and ended up refusing to watch any more.

Does anybody remember Jim Henson's Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story from 2001? I bet it's a pile of shit, but I was like 5 or 6 when I first saw it with My dad, and I haven't seen it in years. So much nostalgia, I'll probably download it.

i was hooked on the pilot episode. i love that kind of genre anyway, so it didn't take much to appeal to me. what i enjoy most is the dry humour, it makes some scenes hilarious.

I watched The Uninvited.

So basically I just watched a shit American ripoff of A Tale of Two Sisters.

Mr. Bungle 03-30-2013 08:48 PM

I just watched the Seinfeld finale.

It was... strange. I feel empty. Might be the greatest sitcom I've ever seen, and now I'm out of fresh stories.

Ah, well. Maybe now I can go back to having a life.

Crashpunk 03-31-2013 01:57 AM

Watched the new series of Doctor Who last night and surprisely, I quite enjoyed it. The episode felt like a fresh new start, what with the new companion, new TARDIS Design and the Doctor's outfit has been change.

I hope the rest of the series is good, I hated the last series and I'm glad Amy is gone. (I'm so going to get killed for that) :tard:

I also watched The Walking Dead. Coming up to the finale and I just cannot wait to see what's going happen. I know it's going to be a big battle between the Prison and Woodbury but I hope they don't kill off The Governor, He's such a great character and David Morrissey does a brilliant job playing him.

Series or seasons? Because Adventure Time is still going strong as a series, and probably will for at least another couple of years, so you might be waiting for a while. :p

I can't do the whole season crunching thing. Everyone does it nowadays, but I just don't have the attention span for it.

STM 03-31-2013 02:08 PM

Just finished the final episode of In the Flesh. This has proved to me that BBC is still one of the best, not only at thinking outside the box, but making drama. For a while the torch was wholeheartedly passed on to ITV but this has brought them back in my eyes.

The blood on Steve's hands as the realisation of what he had done dawns on him just made the episode for me.

Nepsotic 03-31-2013 02:38 PM

I watched the first episode but for some reason or another I just couldn't really get into it.

I find more than three or four episodes of anything in a day reduces the memory of everything watched as a whole into a disjointed mess.

Ah, that's because you, sir, are a simpleton.

Nepsotic 03-31-2013 03:44 PM

YEAH WELL YOUR A FAGGET HOW ABOUT THAT.

No but really, I was watching it, and I was bored, and then I fell asleep.
Maybe you're the simpleton.

Nah, it's definitely you.

Good point. Seasons.

I'm not sure if it's an Australian thing to use the words interchangably, or if I just have bad habits.

Also, I acknowledge that I've already contradicted myself by having downloaded and watched the new Doctor Who (EDIT: mentioned in a post that has now been moved). But then, DW fans are terrible with spoilers.

It's a British thing too: interpretation is entirely context sensitive. Actually, we almost exclusively say "series" when possible.

Not all that surprising since British and Australian cultures are much closer to each other than either is to American culture.

Mac Sirloin 03-31-2013 06:40 PM

Am I the only person who finds all this self referential humor kind of tired? No?

Anyway, I watched Game of Thrones and Walking Dead's season 3 premiere/finale. What a couple of shitshows, anyone who watches this mindless unfulfilling drek should kill themselves. Nah, they were okay. GoT was better although they didn't touch on what was up with Jaime and Brienne at all, what the fuck? The peak of the episode for me was Margaery Tyrell going around proving herself as queen to King's Landing. That or Davos. Jaime, Marge and Homer Davos are my favourites.

Walking Dead is seriously a shitty show though. I saw more CG blood tuning in to it for 5 minutes than I have in any of the massive failure blockbusters released since Christmas.

As someone who watches on average five episodes of shows a day I agree with you totally and I hate my life.

Chris, next time you talk to Gabe do me a favor and tell him I watched the first episode of Moribito and thought it was pretty good.

This is what happens to me. My attention span barely accommodates a half-hour, so trying to cram more than that into my brain results in a very spotty recollection of what I just watched. Also, anyone who has that kind of free time and chooses to spend it that way should probably give themselves a stout slap across the face.

Tell Gabe about more burritos. Got it.

The Doctor Who discussion has been moved off to its relevant thread in order to keep this one nice and tidy.

We've established this. I have the exact opposite problem. It can take upwards of an hour and a half for me to 'finish'. Which, in my opinion, if you have to have a sexual problem, that's the one to have.

Gather round, everyone. It's time for Mat to tell you way more than you ever wanted to know about him again.

Vyrien 04-01-2013 06:46 AM

I'm all ears.

OANST 04-01-2013 06:49 AM

See, if you ask for it I don't want to do it.
