scrabface and MA: I'm curious as to how long it took you to really like Firefly. I remember that the first time I watched it, my thoughts for the first few episodes were 'I don't get why everyone raves about this so much', but by the end of the series I was devastated that I'd run out of episodes to watch. Then there was my ex, who sat through a couple of episodes with a 'Go on, impress me' expression on his face and ended up refusing to watch any more. |
Does anybody remember Jim Henson's Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story from 2001? I bet it's a pile of shit, but I was like 5 or 6 when I first saw it with My dad, and I haven't seen it in years. So much nostalgia, I'll probably download it.

i know. i saw. |

I watched The Uninvited.
So basically I just watched a shit American ripoff of A Tale of Two Sisters. |
I just watched the Seinfeld finale.
It was... strange. I feel empty. Might be the greatest sitcom I've ever seen, and now I'm out of fresh stories. Ah, well. Maybe now I can go back to having a life. |
Watched the new series of Doctor Who last night and surprisely, I quite enjoyed it. The episode felt like a fresh new start, what with the new companion, new TARDIS Design and the Doctor's outfit has been change.
I hope the rest of the series is good, I hated the last series and I'm glad Amy is gone. (I'm so going to get killed for that) :tard: I also watched The Walking Dead. Coming up to the finale and I just cannot wait to see what's going happen. I know it's going to be a big battle between the Prison and Woodbury but I hope they don't kill off The Governor, He's such a great character and David Morrissey does a brilliant job playing him. |

I can't do the whole season crunching thing. Everyone does it nowadays, but I just don't have the attention span for it. |
Just finished the final episode of In the Flesh. This has proved to me that BBC is still one of the best, not only at thinking outside the box, but making drama. For a while the torch was wholeheartedly passed on to ITV but this has brought them back in my eyes.
The blood on Steve's hands as the realisation of what he had done dawns on him just made the episode for me. |
I watched the first episode but for some reason or another I just couldn't really get into it.

YEAH WELL YOUR A FAGGET HOW ABOUT THAT.
No but really, I was watching it, and I was bored, and then I fell asleep. Maybe you're the simpleton. |
Nah, it's definitely you.

I think you get IHJS confused with Bits and Pieces.

I'm not sure if it's an Australian thing to use the words interchangably, or if I just have bad habits. Also, I acknowledge that I've already contradicted myself by having downloaded and watched the new Doctor Who (EDIT: mentioned in a post that has now been moved). But then, DW fans are terrible with spoilers. |

Not all that surprising since British and Australian cultures are much closer to each other than either is to American culture. |
Am I the only person who finds all this self referential humor kind of tired? No?
Anyway, I watched Game of Thrones and Walking Dead's season 3 premiere/finale. What a couple of shitshows, anyone who watches this mindless unfulfilling drek should kill themselves. Nah, they were okay. GoT was better although they didn't touch on what was up with Jaime and Brienne at all, what the fuck? The peak of the episode for me was Margaery Tyrell going around proving herself as queen to King's Landing. That or Davos. Jaime, Marge and Walking Dead is seriously a shitty show though. I saw more CG blood tuning in to it for 5 minutes than I have in any of the massive failure blockbusters released since Christmas. |

Chris, next time you talk to Gabe do me a favor and tell him I watched the first episode of Moribito and thought it was pretty good. |

The Doctor Who discussion has been moved off to its relevant thread in order to keep this one nice and tidy.

Walking Dead season finale. Boring shit.

Gather round, everyone. It's time for Mat to tell you way more than you ever wanted to know about him again. |
I'm all ears.

See, if you ask for it I don't want to do it.
