It appears fine on my browser, but anyway, forget it, I just think that maybe we're a little bit too obsessed. For example: (I know this has an actual answer but I'm just making a point) "How come Abe's blue and the others are green?". We'd say something long-winded about Mudokon classes, right? Well, the real answer, I think, is that the devs just wanted to make Abe distinguishable.

How to fuzzles jump without legs?
-things like that? |
Pistons!

I think it's worth noting that we haven't had much new stuff to discuss in the longest time. Stupid, over-thought stuff is bound to come up.

ANd how do they digest stuff without stomachs? I really dislike the creature design in Munch's Oddysee. In the first two games the creatures were thought out really well, in MO they just fucked them up spectacularly. Fuzzles are a prime example of this. That's not the only thing fucked up about MO, either.
|
Who says they have no stomachs? Have you ever seen a jellyfish? Do they look like they have stomachs?
|
Nepsotic: Ignores a question, claiming that "it's a game", then asks similar question.
|
I was developing my point, not really asking that question.
|
I agree with nepsotic in the fact that the creature design was lazy for MO compared to the first two games, except Vykkers, they were quite grim to an extent and would like to see more of them.
|
I think the Gabbits design was ok. They were fish. Looked like fish. Had fish-eyes. Good times.
Vykkers are not-bad. |
Interns were pretty great too, vertical mouths and all that.
Really it was just the Fuzzles that didn't gel. |
Fuzzles weren't that bad, they might have stomachs like sea urchins or something, I imagined them to have a slightly more developed interior but basically the same as a sea urchin does.
|
Shoulda gone with rabid slurgs.
|
For reference:
http://www.sms.si.edu/irlfieldguide/images/Urchin.gif Of course there would be minor differentiations, but this is my opinion. >_> |
Funnily enough, the first ever picture I saw of a Fuzzle was this:
![]() and I assumed they were spikey, hard-shelled creatures like sea urchins. |
I'd be shitting bricks if I were that Fuzzle.
I always found the Stranger's Wrath Fuzzles more anatomically correct than the Munch's Oddysee ones (insofar as they could be), their eyes don't bulge out as much. |
Wil, do you know for what reason those cranial appendages were removed? Or what they were? =)
|
I don't know with any certainty, but I'd always assumed they were ears. If I had to guess, they were probably removed so they didn't have to be animated.
|
If vykkers werent so jokey, and used in the sense of abe's Oddysee, i would have been scared shitless of them!
|
I was anyway, the bad ending was pretty disturbing.

I thought you'd appreciate that. :D

When the vyyker goes 'surpriiiissee!!' Aaghhegejtfoskwvrheoshdl
|
Maybe fuzzles have really tiny you-know-whats hidden under their fur, or they have very powerful stomach acid and dissolve food and absorb the nutrients. Just a theory.
|
I don't know whats.
|
Do you at least have it?
