Mass Effect fucking sucks. I'm sorry, but it always has and everyone who plays it or likes it or has anything positive to say about it is fooling themselves. It is gaming trash. It is literally everything wrong with Games from the fans to the developers to the fluff to the merch. It is garbage and so are you. I tried, but it's just so boring and has nothing to offer that's new or different and it keeps getting worse.

After playing both Mass Effect 1 and 2 at least two times each, there's just no way I can agree with you on that one. I can not say the same about Mass Effect 3 after I saw, well, a lot of it. I'm just not hyped up for it at all, but I won't spoil any of the dumb as fuck things they did in it.

I agree with Mac, but only about first game, it's plain dumb, the gameplay is really unfair, the game is buggy, AI is a joke, the same I can say about the plot. I've got to say, I have a great fun playing it just to laugh at how bad this game is. It's a disgrace to RPGs (it's not RPG game really - the whole role-playing is reduced to "be a dick" or "not be a dick") and shooters. But as I'm playing ME2, the sequel seems better in most aspects. It's still a bad game compared to classics, but an improvement upon ME1. Haven't finished the sequel though, so I can't loose my hope for a good laugh yet

Mass Effect games certainly have more role playing in them than a typical Final Fantasy. Yet no one cries about them not being "true RPGs". Most people see the shooting and just scream that it isn't an RPG.

Of course RPG is a fucking stupid genre definition, since pretty much every game ever can fall under it.

FFs are jRPGs, ME is intended to be a cRPG (and is not). Yes, that's a stupid definition of a genre. Like adventure games

Capcom makes amazing games. They just don't make very balanced ones. And since my current favorite Capcom franchise is Monster Hunter, and this is basically Monster Hunter with 100% of the improvement that I'd make added in, I can't say a word against it. Mass Effect is a bloated turd that started very, very well. I'm glad I never got into it, though. The 3rd game seems massively and effectively disappointing.

I remember Capcom making good games. Then they forgot about the good series' roots and made some sequels worse than original and after that they sold all good titles to lame foreign studios
