The lol part is a sticker (stickers are to vote with) and that's the watermark on EVERY image.

It doesn't appear to be possible to embed this, damned Tumblr, but this short video is really cool. Ever wondered what happens when a tree branch falls on a power line?

Seen that two years ago on a Ray William Johnson video, it's still awesome to this day, don't get me wrong :)

Because if anyone's like me they just scroll past text in this thread and Nate's video doesn't deserve that.

Is the branch screaming?

Also, this is made completely out of solid wood:

I found that video to be very interesting, it's a demonstration video of Xbox Live back in 2002 when it was in beta, the reason I find the video very interesting is because the game they use to demonstrate the features of Xbox Live is Re-Volt. The Xbox port of Re-Volt was in development and a beta version of the game was sent to all Xbox Live beta testers. Sadly the developers went under before they could release the full version of the game and thus the version shipped to the beta testers was the only version of the Xbox Port of Re-Volt we ever got to see.

I recently read a list of the top 10 rare game collectables of the last generation and the Xbox Live Beta disc with Re-Volt on it was listed as number 1. From what I can see in the video, the port seems absolutely perfect when compared to the original PC version. It even features better menu's than the PC version to.

People have distributed the game digitally and from what I can gather, you need a modified Xbox with the copy protection disabled (so you can play the game from the disc it's burnt to). Obviously the game is no longer playable online but you can play single player and people have reported that there are a couple of graphical glitches and one of the tracks crashes the game.

Dammit, I want another series of ScreenWipe.

Ahh, back when Xbox Live was all about games and not multimedia :/

This seems a bit pretentious on my behalf but I thought it clever and thought I'd share it. Enjoy.

^ owww

I had to write a poem about Easter. I ran out of time at the end, so the last lines are a bit rubbish.

A man by the codename of CHRIST
Is famous for having died twice.
He appeared to his friends
With holes in both hands,
Despite passing the previous night.

Oh, the Romans did not give a toss
As he suffered away on that cross.
But the Lord, in his way,
Had meddled that day
And left those poor guards at a loss,

For Christ's mortal frame,
Whilst appearing the same,
Was apparently without life or soul.
So a guard who was near
Gave a jab with his spear,
But left only a great bloody hole.

For the spirit of that preacher most blessed
Had been divinely repossessed.
So by way of a grave,
He was dumped in a cave
And left his friends somewhat distressed.

Three days to the minute went by.
But then a Heavenly chorus did cry,
As the Lord's only child
Stood up and smiled...
Which is quite hard to do when you've died.

Now that's all very fine,
But the passage of time
Has rendered our Easters much changed;
Now more about gluts
Of eggs and chocolate
Than the King of the Jews once estranged.

So now, this seasonal cloy
Of new life, and bunnies, and joy.
This springtime bouquet,
A more secular day,
Must God-fearers surely annoy.

THE END

@Mac
is that meant to be serious or is it a joke?

The square root of -1 is i, 2 cubed is 8 (I don't get the next bit) and pi = pie.
i 8 pie.

i 8 pie.

That's Sigma, I think.

Wings of Fire 03-16-2012 10:32 PM

Capital sigma is the summation digit in mathematics, basically it means 'All of the' in this context.

Varrok 03-17-2012 12:42 AM

The correct answer is:

"I 8 sum pi"

Dynamithix 03-17-2012 02:34 AM

This is great.

MeechMunchie 03-17-2012 03:54 AM

"I ate all the pie" ... and it was good.

(i 8 total of pi)

Havoc 03-18-2012 05:17 PM

Looks excellent graphically but the story seems like the same old 'discover ancient ruins, unleash death and destruction once you figure it out' plot. Been there, done that. Won't get any better if you put space ships in it.
