I can understand the fuss over magic. But honestly, why the fuck would you would baby animals? What would they do? Drop less?

Crashpunk 10-01-2011 04:27 AM

I want baby Mobs cause it would make Animal Breeding make alot more sence and realistic. Not just a direct clones spawning everywhere.

The baby would grow into a full Mob about a night or two?

Wil 10-01-2011 04:57 AM

I would find that too tedious. If I want the drops now, I want the drops now. I don't want to have to anticipate what I'll want two days into the future.

STM 10-01-2011 05:18 AM

Besides since when was Minecraft, country of floating islands, realistic? I believe I scratched my knuckle while decapitating that tree.

Wings of Fire 10-01-2011 05:23 AM

Seriously. If I want a farming simulator I'll play Harvest Moon.

STM 10-01-2011 05:49 AM

I prefer farmville. ^_^

Manco 10-01-2011 05:54 AM

Also mobs aren’t persistent (at least not yet), so having to wait around for a baby to grow up would be stupid as all fuck.

Gwan-Thwei 10-01-2011 01:38 PM

It'd be cool to breed dangerous mobs. Having an enderman fight for you would be ossim.

Dynamithix 10-01-2011 01:41 PM

Why do you always say 'ossim' instead of awesome? Sounds dumb.

Scraby 10-01-2011 01:57 PM

i dont know if anyone noticed before,i just launched an assault on an enderman with a stack of arrows and he avoided every single arrow till he didnt come near me with that ugly face and abolished me from the living world XD

What a fucking positive way to contribute.

@ Scraby, was that in SMP? I find that endermen are way to easy to kill on Roflcraft but it is entirely the opposite on SSP. Bows are practically redunsant on endies if you're on single due to the teleport.

Yes they are. Aren't they?

Scraby 10-01-2011 04:01 PM

lol i forgot that i was in pre release mode XD as it seems they avoid getting shot and im a fraid of em now XD

Splat 10-01-2011 04:40 PM

Drop water. Wetting yourself is a great Enderman-defence.

Scraby 10-01-2011 04:53 PM

they port now...

Crashpunk 10-02-2011 03:28 AM

Anyone know how to get the new records in 1.9? Are they in dungions like before?

Awww, baby creepers. "sssss"

Havoc 10-02-2011 04:21 AM

I thought records only dropped when a Skelly kills a Creeper?

Dynamithix 10-02-2011 04:28 AM

I remember finding two records before 1.8 came out from a monsterspawner chest.

Took me a while to get an answer, but yeah apparently they changed it in 1.8 to make mobs persistent.

Crashpunk 10-02-2011 04:51 AM

I really want that broken record. I think its called track 11?

Its creepy as hell.

Scraby 10-02-2011 10:50 AM

lol i heard that some guy said that on disc 11 the end of it was some kind of a scream herobr---- end of track. thats creepy

What does persistent mobs mean?

Manco 10-02-2011 03:14 PM

What does persistent mobs mean?

Means they don’t despawn/disappear when you get far away from them.

Tamed wolves are persistent, for instance.

How would that work in SMP where there's more than 1 person playing?

Wil 10-03-2011 01:23 AM

They still don't despawn.

Mudokon_Master 10-03-2011 01:49 AM

When there are players near them?

I don’t see the problem?

In single-player: passive mobs spawn when the player enters an area/loads a chunk. When the player leaves the area, the mob does not despawn, and will be loaded again the next time the player enters the area.

In SMP: passive mobs spawn when any player enters an area/loads a chunk. When all players leave the area, the mob does not despawn, and will be loaded again the next time any player enters the area.

Mudokon_Master 10-03-2011 02:13 AM

Oh I see.
That's all I wanted cleared up for me, thanks.

Crashpunk 10-03-2011 06:07 AM

I didn't know these were added
