Phylum should listen to this.

OANST 11-13-2012 10:45 AM

I don't know what you're talking about.

Dynamithix 11-13-2012 11:33 AM

Really? Because I'm pretty sure it was there.

OANST 11-13-2012 11:52 AM

Who are you?

I listened to Madness' new album Oui Oui Si Si Ja JA Da Da. It's really good. It doesn't top Norton Folgate, but I enjoyed listening to it. If you like Rise and Fall/Keep Moving you'll definitely enjoy it.

This is the title track, but they called it My Girl 2 for some reason. I was worried it was going to be a tacky follow up to My Girl. Thankfully it's anything but that.

Steamer_KING 11-17-2012 12:42 AM

I would like to know from the guitar players from the forum, which one of these packs has a better Quality/Price relationship. Yes, I know I shouldn't be buying most Beginner packs, but for right now, I just something good and reliable to begin with.

Go for the ESP, man, Floyd Roses cause too many problems to be useful unless you like losing your tuning every fifteen minutes. If I were you though I'd invest in new pickups as opposed to using the stock ones, it'll sound better and will lengthen it's longevity.

If you're going into the dirty metal side of guitar then I suggest spending a little extra for a seven stringer.

I was thinking on getting a 7, or even an 8 string, but they're out of my budget. Also, doesn't that ESP/LTD has Floyd Rose too? I think it does. Well, it doesn't specify which M model is, so...

I was looking at the picture and it doesn't seem to have one nor does the description say that it has one.

It seems to be a M-10, so let's assume it hasn't FR. How about the amps?

Ridg3 11-17-2012 03:15 AM

Both of them would be alright if you're only starting out but, again, you're better forking out for more powerful amps but make sure that the clean is good as you can always bring stomp boxes into the mix for distortion.

If you had any suggestions, I would be very appreciated. Both amp and guitar.

Ah, to be a child again.

Dynamithix 11-17-2012 05:02 AM

I tried to post that here when it got released but the embedding was disabled for god knows how long. It's a great song though.

This is nice.

I found this one:

Also, I got myself pretty high placed in the Deftones guitar contest:

Here are some songs I've been learning Basslines from.

I really like learning to play music. My circle of bohemian buddies and I have gotten our mitts on a saxophone we're hoping to learn the ins and outs of. I'm thinking I want to learn some Banjo and Violin.

Mr. Bungle 11-17-2012 01:40 PM

You should check out Sceintist if you want to learn some cool bass lines. I posted them earlier in the thread, really chill and head-bobbin' stuff

Dynamithix 11-17-2012 02:45 PM

I've been listening to some Chromeo again recently.

Mr. Bungle 11-17-2012 02:49 PM
