Opposite for me. I keep jumping into mines because I expect to go flying. It'll take some getting used to ;A;

You fired a seed, it grew into an angry plant with a face, which grabbed nearby enemies and cocooned them up for food.

If I recall correctly, I included concept art in the Stranger's Wrath HD extras.

I assume there was either not enough room for it, they didn't like how it functioned while playing the game, or because a bolamite + fuzzle combination would give the same results so there was really no need.

Maybe it was difficult to balance because it would (I assume from Wil's description) immediately trap and kill enemies, unlike the bolamite and stunkz that only had temporary effect.

I don't know how exactly it worked; there is only concept art. At that point you can pretty much change what it does to whatever you think will work in the game.

Wolvarks vs Outlaws was the usual setup. There was a 1 vs all mode where someone got picked to play a Steef though I think.

Wasn't there a grubb faction that never got implemented? I wish they had though, would have been great to see the grubb canon expanded upon, shed some light on Frayda or whatever her name was.

Yeah, because the online mode taught us loads about the other factions.

I'm glad it never got released. The beta was fun, but storyless online multiplayer is exactly the kind of thing I think Oddworld is above.

there were plans for multiplayer?! now i'm intrigued on how that would have worked out! player 1 is stranger, but what is player 2? outlaw? Coulda been a sort of 'cops and robbers' theme
