Well suposedly OWI is gonna keep all the vetren creatures pluse the new ones in the rest of the games, ok prehaps some games won't have every creature but from what I've heard we'll be seeing all of them in future games.

Well, yes, thats basically what I meant. Id like to see the old enemies, and some new ones. What I meant by it would be boring to see just old enemies is that I dont want to see the same thing again. The inclusion of the oldies with a few newbies would be better than seeing the same type of thing as MO.

Or improved old bits, i.e., newer game speach, and being able to talk with all of the things you possess (that can talk)...or something like that.

I felt MO was a let down because you couldn't control what your possessee's said. I mean how lame was that when the sligs insulted the sliglocks. The games should have better interaction with the species, like how sligs used to control slogs, and glukkons with sligs etc.

Thats what I meant by better GameSpeak.

What does it mean? Concurrent with the evolution of the Quintology? This means it has nothing to do with the quintology? Will it still be a 'puzzle/adventure' game? Or is there a shooter, tactical game, sports-game,... commin' up? Grrr, I don't know what to think. I'm actually a little scared: will I like it or not. Will they stick too some old stuff, or will it be completely new (no Abe, Munch, Squeek,...).

Since Hand of Odd, Munch's Exoddus and Squeek's Oddysee are not the next game...

My best guess is that it will be SligStorm, possibly a first person shooter.

I would love an Oddworld FPS! That would be cool! I think I suggested an Oddworld FPS in my Shrykull thread a while back.

What are you talking about? If its going to be concurrent with the evolution of The Quintology, then it will coincide with the series. So, in other words, its probably going to be the next game in the series. :|

I think it will be something realy new and we actually know nothing... so why guess?

by the way it's nice to know it isn't a game about the one we know a bit so there can be no "stupid" theorising for the moment (like guess the story only by the name of the hero)

Nope! I found out that Munch's Exoddus is next acording to what I've seen on the internet though I might be wrong. After that then is Hands of Odd. :fuzconf:

I hope its darkly violent and takes place across Mudos away from everything else...

So do I. I liked how dark AO was, and they should make another like that--except darker.

I know theorizing about the next game is pointless but I couldn't help sharing this idea. Mainly because I have a very strong feeling I might be on to something.

What if the next game involves Molluck on the run from some sort of Magog Cartel police force. It would follow him through various tribulations and in the end... well who knows.

Just a thought. Doubt it is right.

I like the Metal Gear Solid series!

I would like to see something 100% new and with new characters... not something like the story of an "old" character... but that can be nice too

Oddworld will never make a Metal Gear game or any other type for that matter, they are strictly Oddworld. OWI even said themselves that they will never make a game that dose not take place on Oddworld.

It would be interesting to see Molluck, but not as a playable character. If he recruited the character your playing to help him then that would be interesting cos, not only would you be against the Cartel but also against the Natives.

It might even be something to do with a baby Gabbit thats grown up. Or a Bounty Hunter...Or a Homosexual Slig called Foo-Foo...

I think the best definition of concurrent would be 'at the same time'. I presume this means that the OW4 will be made at the same time as the Quintology (as it is) rather than that it is set at the same time in Oddworld's history
