To put your avatar up you have to go into your user cp and into (i think its profile) and choose change avatar. Then go down to "upload your own avatar" and search through your computer looking for the avatar. Then make SURE that the 'yes' button is still checked then click the button (i thinks its okay button).
Um, you've just had a banner made by Abe Babe just a while ago i think it would be disrespectful and inappropriate right as this short time span for you to change your banner. Alcar... |

Anyways, Alcar, what kind of software did you use for the animation in your avatar? I have an animation of Calvin and Hobbed dancing, but my image software won't let me edit it (ie shrinking it to 60x60). Is there some sort of secret? |

Wow, Alcar, I went searching for animation shop, and ther were 35 products by that company! I ended up just getting a trial version of Animation Shop 3.04. Thanks a lot! Now I can have Calvin and Hobbes actually dancing!

Old and wise and requesting
Hi there Alcar. Sydney has let me know that my current sig is very ugly, so I've decided that, as one of the most long-standing veterans of the online Oddworld community and the grand holder of The Oddworld Encyclopedia title, I deserve a banner.
Abe Babe has made it clear that she's a very busy person, but really speed is no concern of mine. It's other people, like Sydney, who'll have to shield their eyes everytime they get to the end of my posts, that may want a speedy responce, but I myself am in no - I've got 8 weeks of holiday. That over, I'm asking if you've got the stamina and availaility to produce a banner to eradicate my eye-sore signature. Currently I haven't much of an idea of what I want, but give me a couple of days maximum and I'll have everything sorted out. Until that time, I've drawn up a short description of what I'd like to keep you busy.

I've been meaning to upload one of my old sig creations... but looking back they're a little out-dated. Anyways, I was thinking... I dunno if you lot have done this before, but sig competitions do tend to be great fun.. just an idea. ------------------------------------------------------- [edit] "I'm not sure about a background...the grassland region (that can be found in the middle pop of the latest Dear Alf) looks fresh and new, but also rather dull. Still, I'll come up with something. " Well, just an idea, but the different regions have different colours right (paramonia is red [I think I know what I'm talking about]) etc, so why not mention your fave colour. And fave style usually helps too - are you one of those yellow comic sans on pink people, or modern suave sophistication phanatics? [/edit] Disclaimer: everything I just said might be utter crap. I don't have a favourite colour or style... I go into phases where I think 'ooh, bright garish pinks and magentas look nice', or, if I'm feeling slightly less out-of-touch with the world, 'blue on silver looks hi-tec'.
Like I say, I'm going to have to sit down and think about it for a while. Oh, and Paramonia is a lush green forest, it's Scrabania that's red. Tut tut, you should know that, being the whopping great fan that you are. |
