So far iv got
0829 Or 1829 But its really hard to tell, the slightest differnce produces a complete different number |
:
I scanned the above barcode, however, and got 5986558873547 I also got the numbers below when I scanned after inverting the colours 3229232397062 |
:
But I should scan a couple times more maybe, to make sure I get the same results EDIT: I got different results after 7 scans but 4 out those 7 scans it resulted in: 06604622 This is tricky... |
We, iv been trying to crack it from eye and so far...
1829, 24 Or 0454 5101 This may help https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pr...g=w220-h502-nc |
I'm using http://www.onlinebarcodereader.com/ to translate.
It managed to translate the Newsletter Barcode correctly, but it can not translate this barcode. |
For anyone wanting help with the barcodes. http://imgur.com/a/YmAH2
It's important to note that if you just look at the picture as it's given to us, it's harder. The barcode is inverted and is "missing" line from the start and end. Look at how the barcode in the newsletter is formatted, all of these particular type of barcodes start and end the same. |

Gottem!!
http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...yshowthetruth/ New URL! Some kind of puzzle. I was like, hmm, interesting results.... Nice work on the barcodes, citizenerased!!! http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...truth/grid.jpg |
There's a bunch of stuff in the source code.
|
Ahh, of course, the barcodes are the complete link. Ha! I didn't think to add them together.
|
I'm not sure how big this is going to be, but this is the source code text.
I will add that there is a at the start and finish respectively. Keeping them in a quote appears to glitch out the quotation box. :
You have to run us through the barcodes once we're finished with the whole thing. |
|
Oh boy! =D time to overheat the brain! =) gladly!

I've attempted to isolate the missing letters/words in the source:
one(?) e i ven t ght aid i e l e g ing m(?) il t ge se e ck down(?) a l e I also have no idea what these two sections could be: A9539 \\ B2919 /\\ C4882 /\ D4627 \ E6758 \ F???? //// A5989 \\ B5176 \ C2863 \ D2558 //\ E3413 \ F???? //// Are we expected to work out the values of F using the previous numbers? |
|
Here's my theory: the image is a grid reference, and the letters and numbers in the source code correspond to grid coordinates in some way.
|
Oh man! Figures the one day I work late is the day they put out the second image xD
:
EDIT: Sorry, I meant the first two numbers in each 3 number sequence! The last number (after the ':') can go as high as nine, but the first two definitely seem like grid coordinates. Another weird thing about the symbol in the grid is that the piece that should go on top of the symbol also has part of the bottom of the symbol on it. Not sure if that really means anything, but it is kind of weird. |
:
Unfortunately the grid seems to present very little information, other than the Spirit of 1029 symbol of course. |
Dunno if its just me, but the long string of numbers looks like how you would write an IP address, but way way way too long.
|
Decided to clean up the 1029 image because I'm stumped on everything else.
http://i.imgur.com/s7WCLrp.png Also, the arrows were present on the first image release, but I think they went unresolved. |
I'm wondering if we are to place a specific letter at each of the given coordinates. Will is spell out another message? Trying to work it out
Edit: well it seems the grid DOES go passed 8 so... I'm stumped |
Iv got a pen, paper and printer here, someone tell me what exactly to do
|
I'm not sure if they're coordinates.
They don't go up to G, and they go past 7... I also have a hunch that the slashes are important. Maybe a clue about how to read the numbers to find F? I also shoved the random mess of letters: KDIUTHANPUYHHDQOEPLNDOALJGUDITHBBDOZLGFERKJGLSAOE JUTYROSLNGNALEHGNWOTIQPOKSDNTPNOJAWEOBNGLAWKJNWNR JHWUITUHABSJGNEWKLALNVGJKWELKJLWQQPRUTJHJJSBFMMH JQEABTVKNUCSEYCMBILDKOSCYSITECPAGFAXHKETJNZURWCIE Both individually and together through quipquip and found nothing. All but the 3rd line has 49 letters, the 3rd having only 48. |

Hi, new member here, will attempt to assist you guys in any way I can.
I am, however, curious about the audio file that is on the site. Didn't get the time to check them, but is it a new file or is it the same for the previous picture? |
Ok, so I know this seems a little extravagant, but I may have cracked the arrow code...
When converting the protractor measurements for the arrows on image 2 to their alphanumeric values by removing the last digit - always 0 (since A-Z=0-25) I get: 7 14 9 8 20 25 18 5 22 5 5 4 15 3 5 4 H O J I U Z S F W F F E P D F E Which when shifted 25 spaces with a Caesar cipher returns: gnihtyreve edoced Which when reversed reads as: Decode Everything I'll see if I can apply the same thing to the arrows on that cleaned up document?:fuzzle: |

I translated all the numbers to letters and got this massive wall of text Eadabhacbccbdeegccaecdeieebgedgffcgckdiuthanpuyhhdqoeplndoaljgudithbbdozlgferkjglsaoejutyroslngnaleh gnwotiqpoksdntpnojaweobnglawkjnwnrbabcabfadabdcbbcddeebfecgecdghegcgfdggggcchhhccffhiiihddgggccccjhw uituhabsjgnewklalnvgjkwelkjlwqqprutjhjjsbfmmhjqeabtvknucseycmbildkoscysitecpagfaxhketjnzurwcieaacdab faibbbfbbbddcebeebgecdgcfgbggbdbffbdgccbdhcdbddbgdcbfbdfcffbagdcgb Then when decrypted Eis in miana an see taaie a sec een test d data usc pgmio y p f m m s b key hoski hrt p s c g m n n s k w h t de jurth like rpgfj k lhoto i hem tov k g c by kuls o gyo krive knot hiv uro vojnina in dis in sannas seen de at east met at dst ttta a m m m a ad d m c c c m s s t t t a a a armvp c g p m in l r to evuhi hoz truve hur h v b by jpg r m r r l n d x x m r being zuo pale fax n chs uk la fl c geay it diq mue grow p j v a c e ii as indic n n n d n n n ssa en een tea stadtnt tns nd d n staans mas n ssn t sand n s d add nits at n Also, if you input it on the website you get a forbidden error https://pbs-0.twimg.com/media/C3tf0cjUMAAhHYi.jpg |

I don't think that's quite right It also seems OWI wants us to basically DECODE ALL THE THINGS! :p I'm going to have to turn it in early, happy decoding all |
Even still, you never get 403's from there... was just messing about
EDIT, stupid me, turns out you do *facepalm* |
:
There were a few that were a little iffy just because the document was so wrinkled, but with a little finagling it ended up directly translating (no additional ciphers on this one) to "LOOK FOR OUR MESSAGE HEAR OUR VOICE" |

https://pbs-0.twimg.com/media/C3sZBPpUoAAbVos.jpg EDIT Noticed someone already cracked it... |
Wow that's just amazing work you guys!
I'm genuinely impressed :D |
Nice work everyone! I'm looking through the source code now myself. That symbol or logo seems Glukkon in origin to me. Perhaps used by the higher ups?
P.s. Just watched a film called Arrival and the aliens were essentially Glukkons :P |
:
just to stay on topic, do you think there will be another variation of this picture? Well... i still think that we will find more than we think in this one |
Damn, you guys worked it in a couple of hours. It always happens during my nighttime as well. Good job! :D
