Every other forum works fine, why is this one a piece of shit?

It could be an age thing - the forum software is from 04 and the blog system specifically might use something your browser doesn't support, because it's no longer relevant like it used to be.

Calling it a piece of shit isn't exactly fair when you're the one in the nonstandard browser. Browsers do a lot to support developers, and developers do a lot to support browsers. When you throw anything that isn't Firefox, Chrome, Safari or IE11+ into the mix you will get unexpected results.

But ive typed replies in the past that werent long, im sure of it.

"I want this thing to work"
"It wont work with your tools"
"But I waaaaant it"

This forum is fine, I've seen a lot of places filled to the brim with dead links, backgrounds that break if you're using anything but 16:9, and ones that just wont even let you reply. In this case the reason things are not working for you is because of the tools you're using; it seems incredibly unfair to say the forum is shit just because you're trying to use shit tools.

Stop dwelling on the forum is shit thing, that was a comment made at 1 am.

I was tired and pissed off at the forum not working while typing from my vita. I hate typing on touchscreens.

I have an app that allows me to read the forum content in a css-free, data only viewing. It takes up barely any data, which is nice, cuz I kicked meself in the bum this month in regards to data.
Of course I don't get any sort of blogs on that, so I don't even know where I was going with this...

So I finally read what the error message was and it tells me to write at least 1 character. What is classified as a character?

Basically everything that's not a quote or just an image. Maybe even an image, I dunno.

If it's not in tags, or inside certain tag-pairs, it's a character. Tags are anything in angle braces (HTML style tags), or certain BBcode tags in square braces.

HTML style tags actually do count towards the post count.

im on PS4. I can access anything that isnt powered by flash, usually. Often watch twitch and anime from here.
I used to be able to post responses to the blog. I now cant unless its at least like 200 letters, and then have to edit it afterwards, and by that point I stop caring.

I used to have that problem constantly, but there was no correlation to what PC or browser I was using. I found that if you press back after you get to the enter at least 1 character page, your post will still be there and if you click post again it should work. It did for me, at least.

That didn't answer my question. Do you not have access to anything but the PS4?

I can use my vita. But I hate touchscreens (and I also get the same problem).

I have a PC, but I dont think ive turned it on for over a year, and its like 8 years old...


It cant even run Warcraft 3 at more than 10 fps. Now its just the "Oh, I need to do something with a mouse, that I cant do on PS4, better wait 2 minutes for it to boot up" machine.
