a little bit off topic: no one reacted so far, so I tried to cheer up a guy who was looking for a book by Konrad Lorenz (with no luck so far) - K.L. studied the instinctive behaviour of greylag geese. So I drew him a greylag goose: http://i.imagebanana.com/img/21q6703f/g1.jpg http://i.imagebanana.com/img/c8b8u4tu/g2.jpg http://i.imagebanana.com/img/jsu2we2v/g3.jpg http://i.imagebanana.com/img/zdjbn91b/g4.jpg http://i.imagebanana.com/img/xw0grg37/g6.jpg |
Looks more like an Argentinian racing duck to me.
Google can't find such thing
I'm more impressed by the excellent use of the green marker, even if that last picture will stay with me until I die.
What the fuck is in that jar.
(Nepsotic doesn't like putting question marks at the end of some of his question because it makes the question seem more direct, he also likes to refer to himself in third person). |
Peppers, I believe
They look like mushrooms. But green, exotic mushrooms.
No. No, they don't.
Yeah, mushrooms can look like anything. Have you seen them? They're really weird. Nice, though.
My plushie babies :3
http://24.media.tumblr.com/d3e59cf63...g6rwo1_500.jpg The Giraffe was won for me on a claw machine by a friend while we were in France~ |
I have a Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Ratchet & Clank and Sonic plushies. I really should post them sometime.
I have a bunch of video game / TV character figurines from when I was a kid that I have sitting around. Maybe I'll post some of them sometime, too.
I have a tiny Metal Sonic figurine that sits just under my monitor. It's adorable.
I can't find my camera, but this guy has been sitting around my monitor for months now.
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/To...unga_takua.jpg I forgot to put him away last time I had a girl over, which was a bit embarrassing. She gave me a look, although I think she was more concerned with herself for being at the house of a boy who has Bionicle figures sitting around than anything else. |
I used to have a bunch of those. Weren't they part of McDonald's Happy Meals or something?
Yeah, they were.
Bionicles were the shit
Yeah, they were.
I've still got a stack in the cupboard somewhere. Like all Lego, you can't throw it away in case you suddenly need to build a crane to rescue a drowning kitten or something.
My parents gave all my Lego away.

Anyway, I need to gather my cool stuff and take a photo and put it on this motherfucker. |

You've got a sister or something, I think. |

be wary when lending out Lego; you'll find the amount you have steadily decreases over time. don't ask me why it does that, it just seems to do it.
Bionicle was awesome, a little part of me mourned when they got discontinued.
Bionicles and Bayblades were my childhood toys. I used to have all of the original Bionicle models and those ones that rolled up into a ball. Those things were amazing.
YES I loved those! I had the brown one I think, I recall him being the rock type.
I used to have a bunch of Bohrok, and that weird evolved form of Bohrok that I don't remember the name of.
Bohrok-Kal.
When I was into it, I was really into it. |
I followed it up to the Rakshi/Toa of Light ark and I have a big Makuta sitting in a cupboard somewhere looking amazing. This one
http://media.peeron.com/pics/inv/set...geL.thumb2.jpg They really lost me at the Toa-Metru and Metru-Nui. It was the classic combination of their shit writing and me aging. Sorry, I think this is my competitive streak. |
I used to love reading the comics as a kid, too. Then the whole Metru-Nui thing where they seemed to have forgotten that they were in the middle of a flashback really turned me off.
