I loved DS9. My favorite of all the Star Trek shows.

agreed. I was skeptical at first, but they really took the series to a new level.

agreed. I was skeptical at first, but they really took the series to a new level.

The first season, with the whole Maquis thing, was pretty boring, but it really picked up steam from there. I think it was the fact that everything happened in this one area that made the character drama so much more compelling. Not to mention that Quark, Garrus, and Sisko are some of the most interesting characters the world of Star Trek has ever seen.

The dinner scene from Natural Born Killers, sick but funny.

Warden Dwight McClusky! I think it's Tommy Lee Jones' best performance.

OANST 05-22-2012 08:34 AM

There is nothing good about Natural Born Killers. It's just, from beginning to end, a terrible movie.

Dynamithix 05-22-2012 09:01 AM

I liked it a lot.

Nepsotic 05-22-2012 09:51 AM

Its as good as House of a Thousand Corpses.

OANST 05-22-2012 09:54 AM

No. It isn't. It's an objectively terrible film.

Dynamithix 05-22-2012 10:15 AM

I enjoyed House of a 1000 Corpses too.

Nepsotic 05-22-2012 10:23 AM

They're both terrible. The sequel however, The Devil's Rejects, wasn't that bad.

Dynamithix 05-22-2012 10:54 AM

Devil's Rejects wasn't as good as House of a 1000 Corpses.

Devil's Rejects wasn't as good as House of a 1000 Corpses.

Well, it was a very different kind of movie.

Nepsotic 05-22-2012 10:55 AM

Why'd you change your avatar?

Devil's Rejects wasn't as good as House of a 1000 Corpses.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realise there was an actual answer. Which ones better again?

Wings of Fire 05-22-2012 11:06 AM

The one he logically implied was the better one in the post you quoted, clearly.

Sekto Springs 05-22-2012 11:19 AM

I think they're too different for one to be better than the other.
I personally prefer House of 1000 Corpses, but that's just because I love my pulp.

The Devil's Rejects does contain one of the best scenes in cinematic history though;

Dynamithix 05-22-2012 12:23 PM

Captain Spaulding is fucking great and so is Sid Hieg. Creepy as hell too.

Why'd you change your avatar?

'Cause I'm a rebel and won't go with the pony bandwagon. I'm a cool frog.

Nepsotic 05-22-2012 12:32 PM

But yours was one of the best :(

Dynamithix 05-22-2012 01:05 PM

I'll change back to it in a few days, I quite liked it myself.

Dynamithix 05-28-2012 10:23 PM

I didn't realize the same girl who played Gogo Yubari was in Battle Royale until I watched Kill Bill again a while ago. That strangling part really makes me cringe every time.

Watched some of Jackie Brown with my dad last Saturday, only watched it for about 30 minutes though, I really have to watch it sometime.

I really like Tarantino's movies.

Wings of Fire 06-08-2012 04:07 AM

How did I not manage to post my favourite movie scene of all time in here

scrabface 06-08-2012 05:15 AM

Phylum 06-08-2012 08:49 PM

Love it.

Sekto Springs 06-09-2012 08:32 AM

Incidentally the only good scene from the whole movie, and this clip cuts off the best part. Oh well.

scrabface 06-21-2012 06:21 AM

I love the idea that they let a woman handle the gatling gun

Dynamithix 06-25-2012 02:40 PM

Not a movie but whatever.

Phylum 06-26-2012 04:12 AM

My parents and I just watched this.

scrabface 06-27-2012 03:08 PM

almost forgot how great this movie is

Sekto Springs 06-27-2012 03:18 PM

Oh man, I've been meaning to watch The Game again. I only ever saw it on TV, and I never caught the ending.

Pink Flamingos is superior to all other films.

Dynamithix 07-10-2012 07:35 AM

I'd say you can post clips from movies and TV-shows from now on. I thought this was an unnerving scene in Breaking Bad.

Nepsotic 07-10-2012 01:18 PM

Better than The Day Today anyday.

OddjobAbe 07-10-2012 02:31 PM

Brass Eye is fucking good. Chris Morris is fucking good.

Nepsotic 07-10-2012 02:55 PM

The over dramatic title sequence and scene transitions alone make that show fucking epic.

scrabface 07-10-2012 11:20 PM

do you need to be an englishman to get it?
