Being the resident suddenly self appointed movie guy, I can happily say that Illumination is the studio we want making this. They make gorgeous, happy movies.

I don't think CGI is used just cos it's 'in'. I think it's become a new, yet valid form of film. Just like live action, cartoons and stop motion is. And I don't feel its wrong to use it with classic stuff either x_X the important thing is how they deliver the film. |
I yearn for traditional animation too, but we're not going to be seeing a resurgence of it for awhile. As soon as we have 4D cinema.

Where did you find that? |

To do this, you will need a Facebook, but it's really creepy. Watch with headphones. |
Lol, that poor bloke, he obviously can't afford a bath or air conditioning, he's sweating like a pig.
|
I figured this would fit in this thread too, but this brings a tear to my eye. Only because of what happens in the end of the game.
|
I've been watching these beautiful fuckers all day. |

They're good reviews, but not great. Still, it looks good and I'll probably go to the cinema for the first time in about three years to watch it. Tintin is the best.
|
The reason I want to see it is that I always loved to watch the original Tintin's when they were on TV. They were really good. I remember some of the episodes were really creepy though.
|
Oh. Obviously it's just British critics who hated it then.
|
I've learned to never trust film critics.

I'd like to know how you manage to happen across all these things, MM. You really are a strange and delightful person.

that's why i married him.

Nice skull! I wish my teeth were that straight.
I discovered this a while ago, and that skull made me think of posting it here—I think it's pretty cool. Humans are taxonomically closer to this: ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Haha, the wonders of nature...and shit.
|
If I've piqued anyone's interest, this site is rather entertaining.

Digimon designs sure have gotten weird lately |
I think I speak for all of us when I say 'What the fuck?'
I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard. |

So which bit of it made you want to explode from anger specifically? I'm curious.
Also, I think you might be taking life a little too seriously. |
I don't know, the whole scene. An anime girl dressed as a cat with an awkward man telling her something and then the anime girl says something fucking annoying and it's so 'kawaii'.
And yeah, I probably am. |
Seriously. If a thirty second anime clip which is pretty obviously a shout out to Chuck Jones (Loony Tunes) style visual gags makes you want to explode with anger then how are you going to deal with real life?
|
Actually, I thought that was quite cute. What the fuck have you done to me Joe?
|
|
Wait is that real? I fucking want one!
Aww, it's not actually GM, shame. |
|
SHIIII, lol, I need to find £2
|
I'd buy it if it was half price on Xbox Live.
