The sites I'm on are exclusively for gay guys only, so I don't have any lesbians messaging me. If I did though then of course I would talk to her, nothing wrong with making a new friend.

Too, boy. Do I ever know what you're talking about!

Oh, and combining with CrissCross' post, I once had a guy message me on a dating site to tell me that he'd seen me on the tram and did I live nearby? He was blocked rather quickly.

I know how you feel, I get people messaging me that they are in nearby hotels and want me to come over.

The best story I have though was then this 50+ guy wanted a one night stand with me.

I noticed in his profile picture that ehwas stood in front of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I said to him thats a nice Jeep and asked if he still had it. His response was "I still have the Jeep, we can go out for some fun in it sometime if you like?" I simply replied with "Nah, I just really like Jeeps thats all"

So he stopped bothering me for a while and then on christmas eve he said to me "Could you come over? I'd love to have you in my bed as a christmas present". He already lives a good few hours away, plus this message was sent at something like 10pm and it was snowing and Wales is never ever prepared for snow so the entire country comes to a halt when a snowflake falls, oh! and of course! he was way over my age limit!

Oh thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering why you didn't have sex with a random stranger.

JennyGenesis 07-26-2011 02:02 AM

I did once...

Big mistake...

MeechMunchie 07-28-2011 06:38 AM

Well, thank you for that conclusive account. I'm certainly not going to ask you for any clarification, as you clearly didn't intend for anyone to do that.

JennyGenesis 07-28-2011 07:43 AM

I was trying to be nice and warn people.

Thought in case people get the wrong idea, I was not in danger or anything so don't panic, it's just that the sex was awful.

Raep'd

I concur that one night flings are bad mojo, confirmed after a guy at work told me that after 14 children from an unknown amount of women, it was time to settle down.

Bullet Magnet 07-28-2011 10:46 AM

Nothing like knowing your limit. His was 14. I can respect that.

Sorta.

Wil 07-28-2011 10:50 AM

I've had one night stands, and can confirm that they do not always result in 14 pregnancies.

Bullet Magnet 07-28-2011 10:52 AM

Uh, you may have been doing it wrong.

Manco 07-28-2011 11:08 AM

Or wonderfully, wonderfully right.

JennyGenesis 07-28-2011 11:34 AM

I've been put off them for the moment, though I could be having another soon but I'm in 2 minds about it.

CrissCross 07-29-2011 02:11 AM

wow just deleted some people i didnt know... 303 friends to 112 O.o

Dixanadu 07-29-2011 02:24 AM

My friend number keeps dropping by one....then goes back up by one.

WTF

MeechMunchie 07-29-2011 05:10 AM

You obviously have one very persistent friend.

Wil 07-29-2011 09:08 AM

No, you have one friend who is persistence-resteicted.

Dixanadu 07-29-2011 11:31 AM

I'm not accepting/deleting anyone.

It's doing it itself, unless someone keeps constantly de-activating their account.

Ridg3 07-29-2011 02:07 PM

Um...

JennyGenesis 07-30-2011 06:15 AM

Anybody else getting anoyed by that banner on the top that asks if you would like to make Facebook your homepage? I click the X to get rid of it but it still comes back.

T-nex 07-30-2011 06:52 AM

Yes.... But FB can do anything by now to rape their users in the ass, and they still come back for more.

I suggest using Adblock with the element blocker. You can disable any element on the page from ever reappearing. I used it when that horrible gray bar in youtube first arrived. Luckily its less annoying now, so I re-enabled it.

I also blocked the stupid "leave a comment" speech bubble on YT that blocks me from viewing the title for several seconds.

NoScript for Firefox is really good, too. As the name suggests, it stops scripts from running unless you tell them to.
