Don't be too impressed by the graphics. The trailers I've seen so far have only been pre-rendered. |
Ah. But then, why bother re-writing the story, it makes the whole franchise seem flimsy.
(Although I always thought that TR1 Himalayas level wasn't the beginning of her career.) |
They've re-written the story a few times. In the original storyline Lara had been on adventures prior to the Peru levels in TR1, it says she'd been to find Bigfoot. As far as I'm aware the same happened with Anniversary. Looks like this is a complete reboot, which I'm glad of to be honest, the Legend/Underworld storyline was a little poor.
And the graphics even in gameplay are stunning. |
Who really cares about the precise nature of the backstory? The important point is she gets marooned alone and learns how to survive, kickstarting her lifelong love of adventure.
It's all about the Broad Strokes, people! |

This is from XCOM (FPS remake). I don't care about the game, but I'm mighty impressed that modern graphics can do this. http://media.pcgamer.com/files/2011/..._Vortex_01.jpg Ode To Joy: Indie development's official anthem. |

That Rock of Joy looks hilarious!

Y'know that video where diffrent developers were talking about the Wii U, Is it sad i was expecting Gabe Newell to be in it?
Portal 2 on the Wii U? |
Just realised there was nothing on HL: Ep 3 again.
I'm getting the impression it may go down the same route as Duke Nukem Forever (which is out NOW). |

That is the best E3 stage show, bar none.
