I think we all did ...
Who do you reckon would win a fight A pack of fuzzles or a pack of Paramites? |
Hmm, that's a toughie. It would depend on the numbers of both fuzzles and paramites, and whether it was just the regular fuzzles, or the rabid fuzzles.
Either way it's be a good fight. |
it's been to long since i've checked this ... it went from scrabs vs paramites, to furry testicles with teeth
|
Yes. Threads about wildlife usually turn this way.
Dun worry. Threads have turned worse. this one's going pretty well. |
Meep Vs. Slurg.
|
Elum vs. Scrab.
Elum wins against all. |
Paramites are awesome no doubt, but they suck when it comes down to just being 1 Paramite. Then again even though they run away when their alone with another creature, if the creature gets closer, they own them.
|
:
On topic: The elum probably would have an advantage, because I saw them as more brawn than brains. It'd be a good fight, I'd pay to see it. |
Sea Rex vs Snoozer. Whom would win?
|
SEA REX FTW!
Sleg vs Slog. |
:
|
:
So, let's assume that they encountered one another on a cliff over the ocean or some such shit. In this case, the Sea Rex would rear up or leap, knock over the Snoozer into the water, where it would sink to the bottom and 'die'. |
Feh. I'm out-witted yet again.
|
Okay, how about this one? Glukkon vs Slurg.
:
|
Glukkon. Slurgs are probably a delicacy of some sort.
On the other hand, Slurgs are usually around fleeches, who could easily dismember the glukkon. Hm, I dunno about that one. |
This seems like the right place to put this.
|
Yes, it is, though why you would post it I have no idea.
Meech vs paramite? |
Paramite, they have more useable limbs than meeche's do.
|
True, true, and the mandibles would be a plus. As would the spider's silk.

Next time I bump into him, I'll ask.
|
If I ever bump into him, i'll be too starstruck to talk.
...Then again I was starstruck by you, i'm easliy starstruck by not even 'famous' people :tard: |

Um...no comment, Nate or Max. In relation to the thread's question...Paramites. You can actually make pals with them and use them as your fleech-exterminating slave in AE.
"Exterminate! Exterminate!" |
paramites dude
|
I call Scrabs. Sure, paramites are friendlier, but Scrabs can dance. I have yet to see a paramite do that. All they did was chase me...
|
I like Paramites. They just feel more alive in game, and just feel more like an actual living creature, they are also more unpredictable.
|
Paramites own everything! Paramites FTW! Shall we make a poll?
|

EDIT: Oh shit this is OD. I like paramites because they have a much more muscular, and realistic body shape. A opposed to those fugly scrabs with their lanky bodily extensions. |
Scrabs are a bit unrealistic. Why have the pectorals and abs if they're not going to have arms?
But then again, Paramites aren't the most realistic either. |
I know right? Oddworld creatures are the most unrealistic things ever. You'd think Lorne had never seen an animal before, I mean, what was he thinking? Didn't he know what spiders and crabs looked like? I mean, seriously. That guy was dumb. He even got their names wrong.
|
They sure do taste good though!
|
:
|
Okay ench, by realistic I meant biologically feasible.
|
They're all biologically feasible enough to me. Though, that's probably a completely ridiculous opinion, coming from a guy who knows nothing of what is biologically feasible.
Regardless, I believe paramites to be the cooler of the bunch. Probably for their behaviour, and the noises they make. Scrabs on the other hand are just imposing and threatening. Likewise, I prefer Paramonia to Scrabania. For the forests. When I was younger it was also because my uncle, the guy who bought the game for me, is named Per, which sounds remarkably like Paramonia. |
One thing that bothered me about paramites was the big web-spinning orifice on their asses. Couldn't they have been a little more discreet? Here's a pic: http://oddworldlibrary.net/archives/...=CAAO0141.jpg4
So yeah. The one thing I don't like about them. |
They would have been more realistic without them, wouldn't they?
