THEME WURZ |
I prefer the paramonian theme because I think I've had it almost unchanged since I joined. Also I love paramonia.
The Industrial theme hurts my eyes after a while, the bright white lettering on dark blue didn't seem particularly sensible. I like the neutral colours of Native, personally. Clear to see and easy to read.
And I'm pretty sure there's some psychological effect at work. All the nutters here seem to use Industrial. |

And therefore are a...

all the cool kids use Industrial.

high five.
I never said being a nutter made you uncool. I just said it made you a nutter.
all the sexy people use Native.
Anyone use the bee theme? That's gotta make you...different.
Oh and by the way if I do this (sorry OANST, when I do this) I'll be juggling it with my work and a game project I'm working on called Alone in a Killing Field. Too right MA! have a complimentary ass wipe. |
STM, if you have Firefox you can right-click and show the properties of the page. It seems to list all the images used. Perhaps you can use those and modify them to your liking.
I'd save this page to my harddisk and go from there. |
Thankyou T-Nex, I'll have to install Mozilla.
But saving the page itself to your harddisk will also automatically download all the images on the page. which is easier. It saves the CSS and HTML files too... and any other script files that may be related.
Ok, thanks, this should help a lot!!

HA IM SEXC |
You know... I really hate the Native theme... But it's for no other reason that after all this time, I associate it with being logged out. I wouldn't be able to use it cos I'd think I'm logged out and out of the loop x_x
Industrial all the way! |
:
Hence why your so different? Naww just joking.
This is not a thread for discussing what theme people use. That shit is pointless and annoying and never goes anywhere but a mud-slinging contest.
Hence making it the most productive topic of conversation in this thread.
I like to use the Honeybee theme when I'm browsing OWF with a slow or low-screen-resolution computer, or with a not-very-good-as-an-Internet-browser phone. Its speed and simplicity come in handy! But ordinarily it's Industrial all the way. It's Native that hurts my eyes with its low-contrast font. This could be because I always have all my monitors and screens set to 0% brightness. |
No.. Native really is low in contrast. It all looks greyed out x_x A pretty theme, but not very useful for me.
Was Nate just overruled?
I'm not superior to him, so no. More like sideruled.
More like Max just got infracted.
infract him back, Max!
Delete his account.
Make ME a mod! Ehem. I've started making some test title images everyone...yeyy!
Actually, a Scrabania theme doesn't sound too bad. It's not too bright or colourful, white text over a dark-brick red colour.
Pretty. |
Perhaps if making one isn't too hard I'll make more...for now I'm doing Necrum, although it's an impossibly hard colour scheme to impliment because all the Necrum colours are so grotty and dank.
STM, is it necrum mines or the more natural necrum that you're doing?
Natural
:
I think a theme that's a mix of both. Natural and the Mines.
It could go down, so sky, then trees, then ground, then mines, then more ground, then skeletons.
Maybe a Slurg or two.
Hmm...actually MM that's a good fucking idea...but again hard to implement. Do you mean like above ground Necrum, then the mines underneath, then perhaps some temple sanctum and a shit load of bones? Going down the page further and further?
Yeah, that sort of thing.
Don't forget that as the mod of Necrum, my face should be central to any Necrum theme.
Nobody will use it.
