Really... it got old after gold/silver for me. Those were the last 2 pokemon games I enjoyed.

For me Pokémon will never seem the same again. i'm very existed for Black and White but i miss how Pokémon was nostalgic.

I enjoy every Gen but for me Gen 1 and 2 were the best.

All the games have different stories, new monsters and, most importantly, it's fun.

I won't even pretend I play the games for the stories, but yes, I enjoy playing them. The games have had their ups and downs, but the last few games have been wonderful. The Gold and Silver remakes really were awesome, both for nostalgia purposes, and for just plain having the useful mechanics of the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum trio.
