I can't decide if it's the worst show I've ever seen or the second worst show I've ever seen. Strangely enough, I am still compelled to watch it every week.

Yes, I have been clinging to True Blood. Once I got over the stereotype folks, anti-charismatic Vampire Bill, and Sookie's absurd bipolar and nonplussed attitude anything that ever happens to her, I found I enjoy it a lot. Can't comment on the accent sitch, except that it's probably revenge for Americans trying to use British accents.

Wil, it can't be as bad as the faux Australian accent of the announcer for this chain of restaurants we have here called the Outback Steakhouse.

*shudder* I feel both embarrased and dirtied when I think of the forced Aussie accent on those commercials. I bet gen-yine Aussies would get a kick out of it though. :p

Being a Brit that has lived in the states for most my life, I can do both accents flawlessly - making it fun and easy to mess with all manner of ignorant folk.

This conversation just recalls me to something inadvertently coincidental. In Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula (which is, I'd like to note, the only vampire movie I've seen and liked since the original Nosferatu) they did the same thing.
The main characters, who were supposed to be British, were played by American actors and bad American actors at that (Reeves, Ryder). This is of course with the exception of Gary Oldman who did a smashing job playing that Dracula fellow. All the secondary characters, who were Americans and Germans, were played by Brits - and they did a better job in their petty roles than what little acting talent Coppola could muster out of Keanu and Winona combined!

So I guess Vampire movies run the misplaced acting racket.

Tom Waits played an awesome Renfield though. I can't wait to see his role as Satan in Gilliam's new film.

They should get whoever voiced The Sniper for those commercials.

My best impersonations include; Borat, Mario, Doctor Evil, Forrest Gump, Snake (both MGS and the one from The Simpsons).

I think it's quite possible for people to imitate a british accent. I have a friend from Holland who can do a perfect Sean Bean impression (he can also do Cell from DBZ, whos not british).

It's easy to fake an English accent, it's just hard to do it well. As an Englishman, I find it quite easy to do Scottish, Welsh and Irish accents, since I get quite a lot of exposure to them.

My plan (or should I say choice) was never to leave the Oddworld forums, but when the reputation power and signs came in I actually saw what kind of bad opinion people had about me since I have been just a simple annoying kid. After that I no longer felt comfortable on the Oddworld forums community. I still think I am quite the only person with a negative reputation. Anyways after some time then being 'not comfortable' I began to harass some people and tryied to look better in a way, but I just prooved how hard I actually fail. After some more time I got banned. When I finally got unbanned I was totally pissed off and just started spamming again and got banned again. Then after several bannings I finally calmed down and tryied to accept who I am and who other people around me are. I STILL hope everyone can forgive me for what I have been doing. Now only what I can say in the poll is a 'Maybe... I don't know yet' since I do not know when I'll get banned again or if I will not feel so good here again. Best to let the time tell us.

As long as you don't get carried away with it, you'll be fine. Aw, who am I kidding. You can get carried away and still be fine most of the time. You just have to pay attention to the mod's mood on any given day. Some days they will jump right in, and have the most bizarre conversations with you. Other days you will receive responses like "What the fuck is this? Why are you so stupid? Have a fancy infraction". Just watch out for the bipolar bastards.

Then again back to the topic. Every time I got banned on Oddworld forums, I said to myself that I'm not coming back ever again. But when I saw the forum again I just had to post...always. I personally think this forum is kind of addictive. If you ask me in a way - you can not resist it.

If it makes you feel better, Fil the Slig and Angry_Greeter also have negative rep, and AG's is pretty much twice as bad as yours. I didn't even know there was a message lower than '? has genital scrabs'.
