Well, I decided to play this game too. It wasn't actually brilliant, and making game with Flash always sucks. I'm not saying that it wouldn't a give good surface for making games - it's just way too easy like other editors. Sprites are quite ugly 'cause they seem to be taken via cutting from the game screen. -And the work isn't even well made.

I didn't find anything positive from the game, but I still understand what a work must have been making this. ...And how big OW-fan must the creator be. I hope he never reads this thread.

I think that flash oddworld game suck, because this game can not walk any places and too short and just relly boring game :D Real oddworld games are best!

It's not like we have a lot of Oddworld fan-made games out there.

I played it, and I think it's a good game. But only because it is an Oddworld game. It's what I do while waiting for that next Oddworld game.

A Slig platform game would be easy to make, since Sligs cannot roll or jump :D

A Slig platform game would be boring. The levels would have to consist of flat land the whole way through. A Slig FPS though...

Sligs can walk up slopes, use teleporters, and possibly use lockers to acquire flight harnesses at certain points. And if wells weren’t designed to require jumping, they could use them.

The possibilities are endless!

A Slig FPS would be interesting. I could definately imagine Stranger's Wrath 2 with a Slig in an outlaw uniform as the main character :D

Or quite simply you could just say the slig got hydraulics installed into his pants.

That's an interesting game. I seem to start with too much Moolah at the start and not be able to gain any more, even after going through several raids.

Edit: and how do I recharge my Slig's health?

I'm thinking colonial uniform, sligs and wolvarks defending an outpost from angry outlaws. The Alamodd.

Yeah, The Slig Management game is only in development stages. I was supposed to award Moolah for every second that a raid was not happening, but I forgot about that. You heal your character by waiting at the blue (equipment) screen. It takes a bit of moolah depending on the food type, and heals the character.

This needs some work, maybe healthbars would help?
Ideally I want the player to be able to choose from 4-6 Slig characters to form a team, and fight against multiple enemies. It would be nice if I could do a bit of RTS as well, such as being a Glukkon, and deciding what type of factory to build. I'll get to work on it this weekend hopefully.

I think it was rather good to be honest. Yeah it wasn't the best and the quality wasn't as good but it got most of you playing it. xD I have not played the original ones for long time. This flash game makes playing the originals a lot more fun.

When I think of a Slig uniform, I think of a kind of black/brown leather thing, a bit like a western/matrix/underworld/nazi look. This game is, alright. I guess pixel hunting games are becoming rare these days.

I'll try and make a prototype Slig platform game sometime (like the Slig sections of Slig Barracks).

yeah, nice to see you still remember me. Hi Max, xavier,bullet,nate and strangermaid. Might as well say hello to you guys too. I have been in the dark while oddworld doing the same to us. I still visit from time to time but it like once every few weeks. Need more "new" news on oddworld. It been three years now since Stranger Wrath. Demands more oddworld.
