Just one thing: if those aren't Gabbits, then what the hell do you lot think they are, then??
And this is getting WAY offtopic. Well, not really, but still, it's supposed to be Meech based, not Gabbit based. But anywho, I'm sticking with the flashback or prequel idea, the game having a more 'native' tone. Maybe the Meech worshippers are attacked by the Scrab worshippers (Mudanchee, Scrabanians, whatever) and you are another Mudokon trying to protect your tribe and fighting the Mudokons that are invading. Or maybe just kill them, mor scare them off (eg. possess a Meech and chase 'em off in some areas, perhaps)

We don't think they are, we just think they look like Gabbits. And Ninjaxe, I don't base it purely off the one leg. The head shape is similar, the arms are the same, the body shape is the same. If it weren't for the actual facial features and part of the head structre, I'd say it was a Gabbit. The only difference is the head is the wrong way-a gabbit head is ike a can, long and high, that thing's head is like a can on its side-it sticks out and is short.

Maybe they're like that because they're limp and floating, and their head is tilted to the side? The bit we see looks like the underside of the jaw. If so, most of the head will not be visible behind it.

That is a Gabbit. End of story. It is concept art, so doesn't have to make sense.

And to ressurect Meeches, once you have got DNA, you need a zygote to implant it in, preferrably a meech's cell. Then a surrogate to grow it, unless they laid eggs, in which case you would one. And who knows what the young get from their parents that allows them to survibve, like immunity from milk. It's a tough process, at least we have elephants, which brings a glimmer of hope to cloning mammoths.

I think nowaday's you don't need a surrogate, in some places its advanced furhter. Apparently in America you can have your dog or cat cloned :(
Particularly in thise case, I've always been wondering why people haven't tried to clone Dodo's and bring them back. I mean, they've got skin and all, so...
And is that concept art? I thought it was a CG sequence *shrugs*

Yes they can clone cats and dogs, but they insert the genes from the old dog into an ova from another dog then insert that into a surrogate mother, all preferably of the same breed.

Bullet Magnet I think the Vykkers are advanced way way beyond us and can create meech cells from scratch. It is possible you know

Depends on what you mean 'from scratch'. You must have some sort of reference material.

OK if you know Meech cell structure and have nanotech you can make cells from scratch.

You'd still need the DNA from somewhere. And from what we've seen of the industrial families, they don't exactly plan ahead for that sort of eventuality.

Besides, scarcity creates demand. And there's always another species you can wipe out.

Earlier in this thread I suggested that they HAD Meech DNA
