Munch is definately a very solidly designed character. Not by any means the worst character Oddworld has put out. Although MO didn't really tie things together plotwise the way OWI had planned, I can see where they're going and there's definately a solid tie-in for Gabbits.

They spent like, two years designing him. He talsk weird becasue Gabbits normally communiacte with whistles underwater. He moves slow because he has one, broken leg, and is amphibious. Newts a slow on land, but they're much faster underwater.

I like Munch and not only is he a kick ass character he is now also a kick ass hero.

Munch is a cool character plus he is smart. After all he has Abe do all the dirty work for him. Munch is one of those characters that is universal for all specific types of needs. After all it will be Munch who will lead Abe to Sam.

Not really. Because of Abe's assisstance to munch in MO, Munch will likely rally the support of the new Gabbit race to help Abe in his quest. The Gabbits would prove to be crucial assets in aquatic operations considering how nimble they are in the water.

Go to Oddworld questions and answers,page 17,and look at the picture of Roid.That might change your opinion about him (even though the idea was scrapped)

What is so great about that? The lack of eyes makes it a bit stupid when Munch has eyes. No, I still hate Munch through and through.

He's not fat, and just an little bit ugly, but I think he's cool like the others Gabbits.

And what are you trying to prove by saying Munch is stupid? Even Abe is stupid in the sense that he is not particularly intelligent, but he touched me, ya know? That's what's important about Oddworld's characters. This feeling of empathy and identification that one feels with its inhabitants. It seems that you just refuse to see Munch's heart and the role he plays in the Oddworld Universe. Munch is compassionate and is very unfortunate, at least his concept. If he turned into the stereotypical-action-game muscleman with a giant machine gun in each hand, would you like him more?

Um, let me think: stepped into an obviously there Scrab trap, made friends with fuzzles, helped Abe, tried to take down Vykkers Labs and failed, got his lungs chopped out as a result, and got them delivered to Lady Margeret.

Munch isn't stupid; he's just simple; in that he has grown up in the river and he's been dropped into situations he's never seen before and doesn't know what to do.
