Bah, you're only an idiot for apologizing for a complaint in a thread meant for complaining.

On an off-topic note, what the hell? Paris Hilton has joined OWF?

Thank you, for saying that! I was apolgizing for making a big deal out of my problems.

Oh yeah, to add to my list of what pisses me, those celb magenzines. Those people have no right to share the family problems that a celebrity.

AquaticAmbi 03-21-2006 02:31 PM

Someone tried to create a version 2 of this, so I thought I'd give them the chance of posting by resurrecting it. Plus, I thought of something worth mentioning that really annoys me:

People you meet on the internet who make up complete lies about their lives, thinking that they're impressing you but are actually providing nothing more than a source of laughter by claiming to have some great girlfriend, for example. Sometimes the individual even provides "pictures of her," which are clearly pictures of several different and random girls. But meh, I usually humor such people... If they're so pathetic and boring that such obvious lies need to be created, I might as well provide some feeling of pleasure in thinking the lies are believable.

used:) 03-21-2006 03:09 PM

Thankyou Ambi, now we can continure with the pissiness.

What pisses me off? Online, like Ambi, people who lie about their lives or really trajic accidents, kind of like a heart transplant. Yeah, things like lying about a heart transplant really piss me off.

Then there's people who harass someone over the internet, kind of what like AFOS did to Oddguy a while back. I know people should know the risks of interacting with people on the web, but I would like to think there is some level of decency left in this world.

EDIT: Oh yes, and MySpace, the cesspool of the interent.

Being kicked by the person behind you in the theatre.
Having to shut the person up in the theatre.
Leaving the the theatre without knowing what it was all about because of the talking person.

ryddelrocksyourworld 03-24-2006 01:51 PM

People who think that becuase a person is pretty, that they're automatically a stupid snob.

Havoc 03-24-2006 01:54 PM

What pisses Havoc off...

Hm... Havoc is easily pissed off by pouchers, for obvious reasons. Never let Havoc catch you with a tiger skin folks, you won't live to tell the tale!

Havoc also hates stupidity, it's the second thing on the list. Sometimes Havoc wonders if he is getting smarter, or if the world is getting stupider and then he realizes once again that it's the latter.

KIDS! Nuf said... Havoc hates kids... the little buggers should burn in hell, except that there is not hell which brings us to the next point we all know of Havoc:

Religion! Havoc hates religion, a fairly known fact by now.

And last but not least, Havoc hates people that talk about themselfs in third person. So I shall now stop doing that :P.

Gretin 03-24-2006 03:06 PM

:

More importantly, people who are ignorant towards religion, not to mention any names but there are several on this forums whose banners and avatars make it rather clear what they think of religion anbd, it would seem, those who follow them. Seriously, if they said about Islam what they say about Christianity then America would have been nuked off the planet by the raging muslims.
Not that there aren;t ok muslims as well, that wasn't the point ofm that, but someone is saying over my shoulder that i should point that out.

Yeah, it's rather annoying when I'm judged by what religion I follow, especially when most of the things that people assume about me because of that are actually untrue. There's a quote by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen that says, "There are not over a hundred people in the world who hate the Roman Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe the Catholic Church to be."

:

Whenever I say something even vaguely in defense of women or their rights, some people seem to assume it's only because I have a girlfriend. I hate that. I'm not just talking about what mitsur was joking about in the HL2 thread either. It seems like that kind of thing has happened to me before.

For example, I think it's impolite to stare. It's a bad habit. Call me crazy or whatever. So whenever some of my friends and high school would be "checking out" a girl and I would refuse to, they would just assume that it was because I had/have a girlfriend.

Great way to get on my bad side, by the way

:

On that note, I hate when someone assumes it's mere jealousy when I complain about scantily clad women. Because yeah, not a single woman on the earth actually believes we shouldn't be objectified. Nope, not a single one. We're all just jealous when we see some slutty looking girl. Anyone shows his or her own shallowness and/or stupidity when automatically assuming that if a guy or girl is upset over poorly dressed women, the reason is only because he has a girlfriend or she's just jealous.

That is also a thing that irritates me. I don't have a girlfriend as such, but I still get annoyed about the way heaps of girls "advertise" their bodies. The unfortunate thing is, when they do that it's like saying, "My body's the only good thing about me," and there's all too many guys out there who are only too willing to agree and take advantage of that.
The annoying this is not only how heaps of guys like that, but how many girls encourage it! I personally find a girl who dresses modestly far more attractive than one who is half-naked.
And, while I'm going on along those lines, the use of the word "hot" to describe a person really annoys me. The reason: to me at least, the word "hot" just seems to objectify the person referred to, saying how much the one saying that would like to use their body. I absolutely refuse to use the word "hot" to describe any girl, pretty maybe, but not hot.
As one of my female friends said, you hear heaps of people saying about how "hot" that person there is, but you never hear anybody saying how that person has a cool personality or anything like that. It's the heart that counts, not the body!
Anyway... I have a rather large list of things that annoy me, but I'd better stop here before this post gets too long... :p

AquaticAmbi 03-24-2006 07:45 PM

Forgive the spam, but Gretin, you are one of the most awesome guys I've ever met. Really, it's so rare to hear a guy have such a respectable opinion... Kudos to you, sir!

I agree. I see some of that going on at my school, it used to be done by this one girl who's an emo (although she can be nice at times), and she just flaunted her breasts at the other guys who jumped right on the chance.

:

True true. There's plenty of attractvie girls at my school, many of whom are quite friendly people, yet nobody talks about their personality, just about how attractive they are.

It also p**ses me off how at my school, half of the other boys will nag and nag and nag about 'which girl you like the most' meaning it in a relationship way and not friendship, and even if there in't particularly anyone who I like in that way, they keep going on until i just randomly say a name, then they start going round like 6 year olds going 'ooh, you fancy so-and-so', just like slaveless said earlier. Its just annoying how immature a lot of people who I know are.

O.o <--what does this even mean?

Havoc 03-25-2006 03:52 AM

O.o... those are eyes... cartoony big eyes... meant to be an emoticon.
Havoc does not understand why everyone hates people talking in third person...

T-nex 03-25-2006 08:41 AM

What about when people talk in thrid person... About somone else :p

Havoc like to cook. Havoc eats pancakes with chocolate sauce. Meow...

Anyways, i really hate boys who can't leave me alone... I meet guys all over the net, and even when i don't wanna talk to them, they keep messaging me. SO i have to block them...
I also hate trashy-looking girls. Girls that use their body for attention, and who are usually snobs.
I also hate jalous girl that can't take it when you get more attention from the boys than them. it happened to my sister once, she was out to a club with her friend. They were both looking really good and stuff, and there werent so many at that club. Some boys and a few girl, but my sister and her friend got all the boys' attention, and after some time, the girl decided they wanted to go at have a fight with my sister and friend... My sister left right away, since she doen't like fighting. Grrr, i hate girls like that.

Havoc 03-25-2006 08:45 AM

CATFIGHT!!! WHOO! :P

Aww, thanks. :p But, that's impossible. You've never met me!

Sorry, couldn't resist :p

Anyway, on topic, I have a few other things that annoy me...
One would be people who always say, "I know!" whenever you try to tell them something, even when it's obvious they didn't already know. Or when you ask them to do something and they're like, "I was going to!" Maybe it's true sometimes, but at other times it's pretty obvious that it's not. And people like that are really hard to teach, too! :p

Also people who do "nice" things to or for you, but then tell you that you have to do something nice in return. I mean, in most cases I would normally want to do something in return anyway, but when people are like that, it seems more like it's "I'm going to do this for you so you do something else for me" than "I'm going to do you a favour to be nice to you."

And yet another thing, people who don't take relationships seriously. People who get in relationships just for the sake of being in a relationship, or just for fun, or just as an image so they can say about it to all their friends really annoy me. I mean, it's good to have fun in relationships, but if that (or either of the other two reasons) is all there is to it, that's a pretty selfish reason, and I believe in relationships being selfless, not selfish.

And just one more, :p the way some people look on showing emotion as being synonymous with showing weakness. They make out that people who hide their emotions are real tough, while those who are more open are weak. I don't see what the big deal is about showing emotion. :robot:

Anyway, I think that's enough from me for now. Time to stop ranting and get back to taking over the w- I mean... uh... yeah, time to go. :crafty:

What pisses me off? Well, morons.

I hate it how dumb a** people use defied logic against you. An example of stupid defied logic;

"How can I hit him? I was over here."

That was when my stupid a** brother hit me and then walked over to the tap to fetch a drink. He never got in trouble for that, NEVER.

"My 6 downloads at once arn't slowing him down on the shared net, it's the sh*t on his computer."

2. When you have something sitting in one place for a while, and one day decide to move it so you know where it is, and then forget where you put it and wish you just left it in the same spot!

3. Die-hard anime fans

4. When you have an itch like 5 inches into your ear that you can't possibly scratch

That really doesn't do anything to stop him anoying me by always calling me a nigger, never by my real name, massing downloads to slow me and my gaming down, calling me a pr*ck every time he walks past my room when ever I'm playing my cube just to really get under my skin, or always grabbing the family's 250 ml coke and taking it to his room and drinking it all for himself, same with the icecream. Does it really help putting myself into some insecure, greedy and selfish jerk's shoes sir?

I am saying you are sounding kind of inward, and perhaps you should try thinking about others in your life. I am not saying you are a sanctimonious bastard or anything, I am saying that taking it from his point of view, inside his mind, might help solve some of your bitchiness. Which, I can see, you still haven't expressed.

Sekto Springs 03-27-2006 12:48 PM

Another thing that's a real bite in the crotch is Myspace. I absolutely loathe Myspace and most people who have an account there.

I mean, before Myspace at least teens had limitations to how they could congregate. Now they're all conspiring against us. To flood the net with forum-illiterate morons who find the act of typing a full sentance with proper grammar and punctuation laborious, somehow.

Rich? Why I oughtta... ;)

People posting threads for sympahty. Damn, it gets on my nerves! because if they're "forced" to leave they can get:

a. Further sympathy for being 'thrown out' of a forum.
b. A huge gash in their self esteem.
c. Most people who do this come back within a week anyway.

But if they stay they have the "everyone loves me so I can spam and piss about as much as I want".

Grr. It's just for sodding attention! And it gets on my nerves!

So true, so true. It happens to me as well. And the last example is always the perfect comeback.
Well I've a few new things to add to my list that I forgot to put on last time, but they're fairly unsuprising or common hates:
1) Ignorant/predjucided people (homophobes, sexists, bigots, hypocrites etc.)
2) Overly loud, stupid people.
3) French lessons
4) This b!tch of a teacher at my school
5) A lot of people at my school
6) prank callers that are just plain dicks. Mind you, most are anyway.

Like Oddworld?

Marco the Glukkon 04-13-2006 11:41 AM

What pisses Marco off? That's an easy one.

I hate it when you go to school and people automatically put you into a catagory. While everyone is talking about going to parties and getting wasted all the time, I am actually doing something in my life that is going to help me out. While people are doing things that make them feel "cool", I am getting recognized as an Honor Student, and I get to meet people who won a Nobel Prize, I am working on a film, and I get to meet an incredible writer.(Not to brag, sry) If only people would recognize me for being me instead of being a nerd.

And what's worse...they don't like Oddworld at my school!! How horrible!

OANST 04-13-2006 12:37 PM

What a nerd.

Sekto Springs 04-13-2006 03:04 PM

Marco, you'll have that. The world is full of assholes, and anyone who listens to Randy Newman knows that all too well.

In highschool-
You'll have freshmen assholes, sophomore assholes, junior assholes, and senior assoles.

Same in college -
Freshmen assholes, sophomore assholes, junior assholes, and senior assoles.
And, chances are, when you graduate - you'll be working for an asshole.

So you have two options; bite the bullet, suck it up, and go in heads first with guns blazin'. Or, if you can't beat em, join em. Become an asshole yourself like the rest of us.
