I know pretty much all you hear on these forums is just flattery, which is fun to get, but if you don't get a serious criticism, you're never going to get better, so here I go:

I have a problem with a lot of the hands and feet in your creature drawings, they seem out of proportion with the rest of the creatures, and the feet in particular face at odd angles when they touch the ground. Like the front legs of the horse-like thing in your latest 'creepy' drawing. The angles at which the feet are pointing are all the same, save for the front left, which seems to be protruding forward. If that creature were 3-D, the legs would all be different lengths and they'd be in a very uncomfortable position, not at all suited for carrying the weight of the other creature.

My advice would be to draw skeletal stick figures, and not skeletal in the traditional sense, with bones and that sorts of thing, but just very, very basic mannequin-like people/creatures with all the proper joints and proportions. I'm no teacher, so looking up a quick tutorial online would be a great course of action, and from those sorts of drawing excersizes you'd learn a lot about posture and how weight is carried, which will significantly improve your sketches.

And remember, I wouldn't write all this up if I didn't think you had any skill. ;)

I'm not that good in drawing yet. I already know this :) But I'm working on it. There are mistakes I made. And maybe I'll do some more little mistakes in future.

I only started to draw to show the feeling I had in my life and the ones I'm going to have all the time. That's more important to me. Drawing is just more than a piece of paper and some pencils...

If the feet are having a oblique angle then turn the whole picture some degrees :D. Maybe it works.

Drawing is thousands of times more than paper and pencils. Unfortunately, you have to be adept with such things to make your drawings easy to understand and meaningful, let alont aesthetically pleasing. I was just under the impression that you wanted to get better, maybe to convey your feelings more clearly. Guess notski.

I like Kimmon's comments. I would like to post somthing like that, but my "english" is so bad and you probably wouldn't understand a thing (used sad that to me, is he right?), and I will look like a fool to rest of a people (but i'm not, I just like to use long sentences) .

And Maiden, when you said drawing is more than just a pencil and a piece of paper, I can agree to that.
What people draw is what they love most.
Look at me; I like to draw dragons and other things, while Maiden likes to make fan art (like all the others here). It's what we're interested in.
But I babble too much. Hell, I haven't even updated in my thread fer a while (Damn scanner...:dodgy: )

Same thing here. Scanners are so sensitive piece of hardware. Mine was broken twice.

Some sketches of a creature I invented. Just a strange guy. Really. When I drew him the first time I didn't even know about his personality. That's funny. I only meet such creatures if I draw them :p. I mean look at his crazy grin... this guy is really strange in a mysterious way...

So...

I don't know yet how his whole body will look like in future. I just tried some variations but I know that he's going to keep his head form, his paws and his scorpion-like tail. :D

These two creatures are half brother and sister. They have the same mother.

Cool sketches. The second one looks like a priestess to me. It seems their mother was a stag-like creature, if they both have antlers.

I only have to think about the look of their parents. You're right, the mother is a stag-like creature. But I think about the father's look for first. Something with bear paws, I guess. And the father of the half-sister (I still have no name for her) can be about 500 years old. So his daughter can be too. Actually, she's the elder sister even she looks younger then her half-brother.

Actually, they're all the same animal. The very first were only the concepts I drew some months ago. Yesterday I made it just perfect. :p:D
