:

The fourth game, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath will be in stores on January 25, 2005 in the U.S. available for the Xbox. Europe and Australian lauch is in Feb. 2005.
That is utter crap! There is no Xbox release this time to hold them back with launching the PAL version. And EA have headquarters in Europe and Australia, so distribution isn't something holding them back. And it can't be a language problem, because all the languages have to be finalised for the NTSC version as well!

First the DVD, now an extended release date. What's the excuse now?

I just stumbled on an old video interview with Lorne and Sherry. They're talking about MO, but it sounds like this early idea of shooting they have evolved into Live Ammo. Really interesting.

I completely agree. OWI also had some interesting ideas for ammo.

I don't remember ever seeing that video clip before, but I have most definitely read an extract from it, regarding the abatoir boss turning into a pig (“Why don't we go get ourselves a fine meal of pork and beans?”) and the vivisectionist becoming a rabbit. I've always considered Live Ammo to be the next weaponry theme after Product Delivery Firearms, though the spiritual weapons never struck me so much before, despite having heard of the Supernatural Spooce Cannon.

I also remember an article in which Lorne talks about the differences between the architecture of Glukkons, Mudokons and Vykkers that would feature in Munch's Oddysee. I've long wanted to rediscover that.
