I think you're just ignoring the situation here Majic.

First, I posted to show I'd actually read through this whole thead.

Second, I can't be too bothered to give out warnings, as this isn't really anything serious.

Lastly, my statement was quite truthful. Nothing has been accomplished here. Claire stated her ideals, some people disagreed, and it's just been a back and forth type thing ever since. Then, it might as well be a known fact that when spam accusations and threats occur, a thread is worse than dead. I didn't think it necessary to resay the obvious.

She was so obviously going to end up down the crapper one way or another. This whole sequence of events achieved nothing because of stuff she did, not because of stuff we did.

So OK this thread has gone down the pan as well as ClaireBear. Whatever. Lock it. Don't need to make a big deal out of it like we are some form of filthy pigs. :P

Of course it was becasue of stuff she did. She created the thread, she replied in defiance, she made enemies of you at the start:p But also remember even acknowledging the whole "Age defiance" type thing is part of what she was fishing for. had everyone just explained whatever crap there is to explain about this forum, and gone off with their own business, she would've read, and stopped. No human, unless truly, truly desperate will continue an identical strand of attention-getting techniques if it goes nowhere.

My judgement is that Claire isn't at that level. Sure, I coudl've joined in on this and continued the loop, but I find it much more sensible to simply get everyone back to their senses.

I've managed to find the other forums she posts on. At www.uksalsa.com she actually posts under the name of "ClaireBear". It's not even really a forum, but she is almost exactly the same there as she was here.

If it was the way she was that made her incompatible with these forums, then I really doubt she will ever come back.

Im not going to say anything against her because I didnt really notice her around her too much, or read really any of her posts. I'm just going to put in a response to one thing.

In regards to many minors being here, many of the people here are a lot more mature than you might think, and a bit wiser or more "grown up" then their age might suggest. The typical label is "Oh, teenagers and kids, those hooligans!" (except probably not as watered down as my statement). I myself grew up a long time ago mentally. You dont need to be legal drinking age to be an adult, I've seen many people my age (16) who are in fact more mature than many adults in this world. Of course this works as usual the other way around, there are plenty of teens and kids who are really immature, dont take responsibility for their own actions and/or others. Maybe we all just need to have more patience, and have more understanding for each other, and not be so quick to pass judgement. Now of course did I get on a soap box and say a lot, yes, of course I did. Still, its something to think about.

Like I said I just was stating my opinion in regards to an earlier statement, I respect your opinions ClaireBear, and I'll leave it at that. Good day.

Anyone can turn over a new leaf. I think CB is leaving, but if she comes back we could give her a chance.

More than likely she won't. But if she does, all she has to do is follow the rules and not jabber on about how old she is, how young we are, and how she would feel inadiquate swearing in front of us.

In fact, fuck is the only word which is censored on this forum.

My guess is that she'll come back under another name, seeing as we all (myself included) bashed her so much.
