well, its the only logical explanation. Maybe they live in some sort of undwater cavern undernieth the sahara?

does anyone remember that pink blob of flesh that was washed up on shore last summer it was all over the news hmmmm.....they said they took a piece of it for tests to determine what it was but i never found out

Fez 02-22-2004 01:27 AM

was this in britain? i think they said it was a giant Octopus.

'Maybe if it lived in the water...'

There is water in the Sahara Desert. Those Crocodiles live in the watering holes of the Sahara...so maybe.

If they're not in the Sahara desert then they might be deep underground where water is...and only come to the surface when...hungry...or bored...or something

That sounds like the type of worm that'd live in the ocean, but how an ocean dwelling worm ended up in the most opposite of places is beyond me. :fuzconf:

The picture of that beast head that greenangel posted is a picture of an Ahtouid Neokrafti's head. The Ahtouid is an octopus like creature that dwell in the gulfs/seas of Mexico and England, It has 30 long tentacles with small mouth-like claws on the end of each tentacle. If you've ever seen the movie "Deep Rising" the creature is supposed to be a very large version of the Athouid.

...................................................Your making that up.

i really want to see deep rising, looks like a neat film. The beast head greenangle posted was suppose to be a chupercabra, not a.....one of those things you said.

RavenMM 02-22-2004 07:01 AM

well they are discovering new species every year in the ocean as explorers go deeper and deeper so who knows what lurks down there maybe large octupus like the size in deep rising monster

Actually I'm not making anything up. Yes, it's supposed to be chupacabra but it's not and you said yourself that it's not. Deep Rising is indeed a good film but it's farfetched how they based the creature off an Ahtouid when in real life they are only about 3 feet long. The picture is without a doubt an Ahtouid, I've seen pictures of dead ones on the internet. The picture of the Ahtouid head is most simply a a mangled one that washed ashore and some mexicans put it online, some loof probly found the picture on an illegible spanish site and passed it on as the chupacabra.

A lot of the pictures look really amazing, and sorta creepy. I have not gone there for about two months due to me getting too nervous, and seeing faces in the windows. o_O
