Well, as long as you believe that, that's all that matters.

As long as it is true this matters, and it is :)

Where the hell did that come from?

morphius 04-20-2002 03:12 PM

You stated arent we all, right after I said you seem to be confused and not every one is confused but when it comes to logical creation I said every one is...........

Danny 04-20-2002 03:32 PM

Hmm. Well, that was a fairly random topic-change, but I suppose it's true (if irrelevant)...

morphius 04-20-2002 03:36 PM

And how is arent we all confused relevant?

Danny 04-20-2002 03:54 PM

You were the one who brought up confusion, I just pointed out that we were all confused...

Now kindly cease your crusade to turn all of the topics here into arguments...

morphius 04-20-2002 04:00 PM

What a twist you put on that.............you started the arguments, I only discuss.

Morphius, I'm sick of you and your attempts to provoke me. If you have a problem with me, please either tell me over PM or just shut the f*ck up.

morphius 04-20-2002 04:07 PM

As I said before it is only your false accussations...........

Danny 04-20-2002 04:11 PM

You see that button under my posts labelled "pm"? Click that one this time, instead of "Add Reply"...

morphius 04-20-2002 04:12 PM

You just want to prove to everyone you don't know when to shut up. Sheesh, I give in, here.

What was the question?

Jacob 04-20-2002 04:38 PM

Morphius...if u carry on the way u r u will end up being more hated than me...and more geeky...than...some of the forumers (Wich i wont mention.)

morphius 04-20-2002 04:44 PM

No, not hated only despised

Teal 04-20-2002 04:46 PM

Surely "hate" and "despise" mean pretty much the same thing?

morphius 04-20-2002 04:50 PM

No, its to loathe..............

Sl'askia 04-20-2002 05:00 PM

Well then...if you know people loathe/hate you then why do you stick round? *readies pitch forks and torches*

morphius 04-20-2002 05:06 PM

Because they are not the ones who will be judging me in the end............Social status does not concern me..............I do not run, and every one has their own opinion.......

No, we noticed you do not run, any sane person would have run a mile by now. Jee-sus, do the words "shut" and "the" and "hell" and "up" mean anything to you, in that order?

"Because they are not the ones who will be judging me in the end..." - no, but the admins will be judging all of us in this little mess right now, so I don't think what happens in the end matters right now.

*goes off to take out her rabid frustration on some plates and comes back looking infinitely calmer*

morphius 04-20-2002 05:12 PM

I only discuss...........

This makes sense in theory, but it presupposes that unattractive people don't have an equal opportunity to reproduce. In a very limited population that might be true, but I don't think it is today. Very few people are so goddawfully unattractive that no one would have them. It also raises the question of what constitutes attractiveness, which for many people is not limited to physical beauty.

Sorry to bring up such an old post (I swear, age is completely redefined on OF. :fuzemb: ) but I saw a documentary on how humans attract mates.

Genetically healthy humans have a generally symmetrical faces, and studies show that symmetrical faces are considered more attractive to both males and females. This concludes that natural selection does still take place in the human race, with the neverending quest of successfully passing on our genes with the next generation.

Sl'askia 04-20-2002 06:32 PM

I remember seeing a program like that ages ago. Toward the end they had a something of a slide show. On this slide show they rated famous icons on how symmetric their faces where (and supposed 'attrativeness'). I believe the scale was from 1 to 10 or something...I don't remember, 1 being the most symmetrical/attractive.
Bill Clinton got a 2. something. The old cartoon character Betty Boop got a 1. (though...I could never see how anyone could find Betty Boop attractive...but sense she is a cartoon character she doesn't really count). I don't remember any others though...

Check out page 2 of this thread -- Lamp, Danny, etc. already talked about this very thing.

Oh, Abby! I thought better of you than to reply to Murphy!

You should watch what I do: See? I'm not replying to Murphy. Now you try!
