This topic stopped being interesting quite a bit ago . . . although amusing in a twisted sort of way.

Lol, I know he is... Pink and Surf seem to miss a lot of Dan's humor, and my humor...

Ok, I'll give up... he just doesn't see that his point is being thrown back at him.

If you could quote what you just did, you must have found what was humorous... Go up, look around... you seem to often miss sarcasm and snide comments. Any way, we should just stop this conversation, it is starting to get on my nerves... Let us all just back away. *my last post here, unless a new opinion or aspect comes up from someone else*

Majic 03-09-2002 01:29 AM

i think people have otrmented surf enough, maybe it owuld just kinda be good to have this closed, i mean people are entitiled to opinions but surf wants people to stop bugging him, i think anymore comments here wont exactly be nice....

I'm trying to believe me.

To Sydney:
And Syd ask me why do i act like a man if i don't sleep with men? well i can't help acting like a man i mean i'm still in my adolescence stage but after i have entred an adulthood i will yeah be a man. So why would you ask me something like why do you act like a man if your not attracted to a man for??? Are you suggesting i act like a girl???? I know gay men are not sexually attracted to the female gender, but does that give them the right to act like women?

To Doug:
Also people are so shocked that i just came out and said i'm homophobic, well i thought this would be the easiest way cause if i were to open a topic saying "i'm homophobic" that would of proved i would be looking for an arguement which i'm not at all, i tried slipping it in as casually as i could, but it looks like i may aswell have opened up a topic on it.

Alright, alright. Once, I made a topic and I asked in it where some regulars of before came to the forums were now, including Dakkan Blackblade. Someone said that he was banned for bad behaviour or something.

When I replied to Stattik's Magic topic, I just visited the official Magic site, where I saw a card named..... Dakkon Blackblade! So at the end of my post, I showed the card. Thought it was funny to see where he has his name from. I will dig that topic up (means the "Where did those people go to?" topic.) and see who said he was banned / or who I misunderstood, leading to this discussion. And by the way, what does Dakkan have to do with hyper gayness??????

Here it is: the Dakkon Blackblade card!
http://mi.wizards.com/global/images/...blackblade.jpg

EDIT: GOT IT!!! Here is: the "Where did those people go to?" topic. Dark Hood and General Dripik told me he was banned. (No offence against them, but it's a fact they said it.)

Time to close discussion!

It seems you missed the purpose of the question. It was a response to your condemnation of gay men who happen to act effeminately, in which you couldn't see the logic in why a man who doesn't find women sexually would behave effeminately. Your post suggests that one must act like the sex he finds attractive. I pointed out the flaw in your logic, as why would the rule apply only to homosexuals and not heterosexuals?

Have you ever considered the possibility that some gay men act effeminately because they feel comfortable doing so? The mere fact that you're insecure with your sexuality is not reason enough to deny the right of someone to act in a fashion they find comfortable.

Statikk HDM 03-09-2002 10:52 AM

Well, it is kinda weird if a guy looks at you weirf, I guess. But i find it even stranger if a girl acts funny around you. Is it the hair, bad breath, armpits, wgat?!?! also, a lot of people on t.v. are being made to look close homosexual or bi, do you see this. For, instance, in the coma episodes of drew Carrey The heavenly intern says in not so few words thaat drew has a shagging appointment with George Clooney! Afterwards the intern says"No one is here to judge you' and is it me or does everyone on the simpsons appear to be gay or bi?

It's just you!

The only person on The Simpsons who's out as being gay is John, zzzap! But I don't think everybody in the series is gay or bi. The whole steel industry's gay, though.
A lot of the Springfieldians seem to be Christian so that rules them out as being gay or bi!

Isn't Smithers gay?

Why don't we try coming at this from a different tack, shall we?

Even if we assume that all gay men acted effeminately (which they don't), why is that a problem for you?

Ask a silly question...

"Smithers! There's a rocket in my pocket!"

"You don't have to tell me, sir..."

It's all part of the phobia, i can't really explain, i just don't like it at all just cause there gay is does not mean they have to show it i found it completly unnecessary for them to act effeminately.

I'm not applying that rule to straight or bi men only homo.

Sydney 03-09-2002 09:27 PM

Isn't that a bit unfair? Why would it only apply to homosexuals?

Well each sexual preference is always alittle different from the other therefore we can not apply the same rule to all of them.

BTW: Syd are you gay? If you are i think i'll just leave this topic alone.

Sydney 03-09-2002 09:34 PM

I still can't see your reasoning, but I can't see anyone relieving you of your confusion on why some gay men act effeminately. There are feminine straight guys too you know.

BTW: I don't discuss my sexual preference on the forums. Read it how you will, but don't jump to any conclusions, okay? ;)
