Looks like it :) I doubt it'll reach the $75k stretch goal for Stranger, but it's very likely to get funded soon now.

OWI put out a tweet that when the goal is reached, they're going to be giving some gifts away to random twitter followers. They showed a pic with copies of the games from Limited Run (NNT PS4 + Vita, Stranger Vita) + the new Stranger playing cards etc.

Yay! I'm super excited they reached their goal! I'm always quite nervous about Kickstarter.

Can't wait! I bought the early bird and the Alf set... Would've gotten Lulu Munch but the postal is really expensive on the bigger sets.

Yeah I was a bit annoyed with the postage. $17 for Abe + Munch, but $40 for Abe, Munch + Alf if I remember right. Whatever happened to bulk discount? I mean, you could post Alf separately for cheaper than that. Hope he's worth it.

Speaking of which- Abe farts and Munch burps. I wonder what Alf says?

Hard pass on that, especially if it's only Erick's art. Nothing against his work, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to get.

So the project was officially funded! A new update has gone out saying there'll be more info coming soon on the preproduction + production process, as well as a questionnaire (I assume to gather feedback on some design decisions?)

It also specifically mentions that OWI/ESC Toy are looking for fan feedback on whether we'd be interested in a series of figures based on Oddworld.

That's something that a lot of fans here have suggested and I would personally love, so perhaps now is the time to shout about it ;)

I just got a Kickstarter email update, prototypes for the Alf/Lulu Munch plushies have been made and they're looking good. Munch especially, who's now actually grey.

If the PVC tags are any indication, Lulu Munch was always going to be grey. I expect regular Munch will still be pink. The limited edition plushes are both essentially recolours of the basic Abe and Munch toy patterns, but with small cosmetic changes and added details (hats etc). They both look nice and I'm looking forward to receiving my Alf, but it's a shame they didn't create something wholly different for higher rewards. Not as cost effective though.

It is a damn shame we didn't get any of the stretch goals, I would have loved to have some of those ammo plushies. :fuzsad:

They should do a campaign just for the ammo plushies. I think it'd do better than this one.

Well...

Almost no communication or advertisement from ESC toy. Most of the advertisement I saw for it was coming from Oddworld Inhabitants, not ESC toy.

ESC toy told me we would see the poster when the campaign was funded. The campaign got funded and we still haven't seen the poster's artwork.

The tiers were badly designed, for instance there was no easy option to get all four plush toys.

And finally the master set was way too expensive for what it actually contains.

Just incase anyone who pledged for the Kickstarter is unaware, the email 'surveys' went out a week or so ago. Looks like the toys are on track for delivery in January sometime.

Prior to this, Erick commented that they were awaiting design confirmation from Lorne, so it's unclear whether any changes have been made from the prototype designs.

Regarding the survey itself, as far as I could tell, it only asked for my address for delivery. I was under the impression from what ESC Toy said previously, that the surveys would include a questionnaire on further merch that fans would like? I guess it was either overlooked or canned.

It might be worth commenting on the update asking about this or messaging him as from personal experience, he does respond. :fuzconf:

The poster is the only thing that's not been delivered and from the sounds of It, it's out of their hands so I don't see what the massive issue is.
