ED Who knew buying a set of runes would profit the ARG. edit:Xavier is a speedy shit |

I've listened to the audio and it sent the most disturbing shivers down my spine, I started shaking. I haven't got that from anything (movie/book/music) in a very long time. You guys, have done a very good job to get all you have from it.
I'm investigating the arrows with Kevin. |
Hearing those sirens in high quality brings a lot of nostalgia.
|
Here's what I could make of the arrow code on the right side of the sheet, when read from Top-to-Bottom:
↖ ↖ ← ↙ ↘ - ↓ ↘ ↙ - ↓ ↑ ↖(?) ← - ↖ ↖ ↑ ↓ ↓ ↖ ↙ - ↓ ↘ ↙ - ↓ ↙ ↖ - ← ↙ ↙ ...(?) Not sure what way they need to be read, or if they are even relevant. I'm not certain of the third arrow in the third group, or the final arrow, which I've left blank. I've also separated the groups of arrows with a hyphen. |
Looks like a cheat code for invincibility if you ask me

That cipher near the bottom, its not the Tic-Tac Code of the "We will rise" piece. Anyone solved it yet?
EDIT: Well, just realized the background audio is mudokons screaming for help. I'm not sleeping tonight. |
The bottom cipher is YOU ARE THE KEY YOU KNOW IT IF YOU WERE LISTENING -
I still can't seem to make sense of the audio code, so I'm hoping Connell's friends come upon something. I'm still wondering how we're meant to use the "key" when we find it... maybe just tweeting it to 1029 or Ed or OWI is enough |
I've tried separating the morse from the background sounds myself, but its all on similar frequencies and tones, my programs can't pick all of it out.

A person from OWF's FB page has troubles logging in, so I decided to forward the message:

This came out:
FFXJP - UPJ - UNF(?)X - FFNUUFJ - UPJ - UJF - XJJ ...(?) I don't think it's semaphore code |
:
if you search "20-12-17" on Google, you'll find this : https://www.biblegateway.com/passage...xodus+20:12-17 From Bible: :
|
From what I saw at first glance, Semaphore involves both arms/flags per symbol, so I'm not sure how one would try to decode this in Semaphore due to there being single arrows :fuzconf:

So good news and bad news; the Morse proved a bit more tricky for them than originally thought, but they did still manage to isolate it and make it pretty clean. It wasn't slowed down to avoid potentially distorting the beeps, but here's the first effort to share with you. I'm sure someone can do something with it: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen.../Untitled.flac
I'm on mobile ATM so that's the only way I have to attach it. I hope it works, if not I'll sort it when I'm home this evening |
It'd definitely possible to slow down an audio like that in a non-distorting way.

This is very interesting, I don't think I can help you with this, but I'm looking forward to what all of you discover, great job ;). |
OWI wouldn't give us an exact release date like that. Nor they should.

EDIT: Website; The Compass of Enoch featuring the letters of the English alphabet, arranged according to the Atbash cipher. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...c884e2f432.jpg I swear it's a form of HTML though. I remember it from school. http://htmlarrows.com :

That mention's cool. The book name tho: Exodus
Doesn't this title remind you an old game you all know? Also Varrok is right, there are ways to slow down an audio without distorting the beeps. Gonna see if I can do something but I doubt it. |
Ok so i got the flac file that Connel uploaded and i tried to upload it on morsecode.scphillips.com but it didnt work. So i used a converted to convert it to mp3, and then uploaded it again. First of all let me say that i have no idea about audio or morse code. I am just experimenting. I used this setting and i got this as a translation
I dont know. Every other setting that i have tried gave me gibberish, so i was kinda confused when i saw this one. Thats why i posted it here Its probably nothing edit: after using this one i got this messege! edit2: and the last setting gave me this! |

Yeah, we all loved Ultima III: Exodus :)

Those look more like demo codes from the site itself, rather than something hidden in the audio file. I think you might have made a mistake.

Oh fak. I am stupid. Sorry guys :P
Turns out, hype can blind you :D |
No worries Gou, everyone can make mistakes ;)
Anyway I slowed down the audio and uploaded it to the morse code site to translate it and it gives me this message (with the normal setting): E IM OEIM KE TDMTATET#TGAT#VLAWLS T with fox setting: E D EB E IT NT MNI ETTE T NE EIE EMPIM EW EETH AE#SB DSA ISTLEI#RE EEIM#N UE# Inspector Morse setting: E I'm confused |
Those aren’t settings, they’re samples.
