So you'd prefer that it's not included in the pre-order deal and that everyone needs to pay it when it becomes available post-launch?

As Jaw_Alex said, despite JAW's intentions to do so the video game business can be fickle. So they'll only guarantee what they can guarantee and say they hope they are able to deliver the same for others.

Obviously if it was as simple as you think it should be we'd have that guarantee. But it seems that region does matter.

I wasn't saying that you announced it too early but that Oddworld might have changed the website too early or didn't intend for the Alf/Costume pre-order to be viewed this early since they cannot give details on it for a few more days.

I feel that the members OWF, more than anyone else, should actually buy the game (and add-ons) in order to support the work OWI and JAW are doing.

How is asking them to give out their work for free going to help them? Especially to die-hard fans that are going to buy the game anyway.

I still want a physical copy... Perhaps in the future they could look into doing that as a pre-order exclusive.

I hope they end up doing something like Machinarium did, release the game digitally first and after a while release a physical limited edition with bonuses in it such as lithographs, an OST cd, etc... :)

No, I'm saying that the pre-order extras should be available worldwide. I've nothing against them offering the extras for a price afterwards, but I think everybody should be given an equal chance to have the extras for free.

I do feel for JAW. It seems this is really quite out of their hands. I believe they do have the best intentions though for us, why wouldn't they want to provide us with stuff they've slaved over for years? But at the same time, I hope we do not get disappointed.

Okay now you're making be genuinely curious as to why this is not easy. Is the entire point of being independent not that you have full control over these kinds of things? Or is it Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo who have certain restrictions on pre-orders and DLC on their platforms that is making it hard?

The "not easy" bit was more about trying to communicate with fans like you guys when we don't currently have all the information out there we want to have and the limited amount of time and resources we have available.

We want to get everything straight first and then we'll hopefully be able to move forward.
