i did one today, just to see what all the fuss is about. Annoyingly about ten people also snapped a photo before i got down.

Why the fuck would you do it if not to get attention, that's the whole bloody idea. Funny how someone who is vehemently against the whole thing does it after spending about two days on a topic on a back water internet forum.

You can do things for your own amusement and the amusement of others without actually desiring the attention.

But something such as planking gains amusement in direct proportion to the attention and interest that is generated by performing the act.

How do you know they don't all by chance go the same way after school? It may be a popular shopping area or something.
