• Bio-Hazard Battle (THE THIRD BEST GAME EVER MADE - Just play it. Just look at it. It was the trippiest thing I'd ever seen at the time, and still ranks highly now.)
• Sonic 3D (Was only isometric, really, but back then we were ready to believe anything... Good music.)
• Micro Machines '96 (Micro Machines remains one of the best things to play with friends, especially non-gamer ones. Regardless of skill, Fun increases exponentially as Players are added)
• Micro Machines Military (What could possibly make Micro Machines better? Guns. IT'S A BLAST!!! *Neeeoow-Crash!* *Hums theme tune*)
• Sonic Spinball (Good simple fun. EEEEE says Scorpius. Contains your recommended daily intake of Robotnik.)

It's an amazing game and anyone that hasn't played it should go and try to find a copy. The main story is around 30 hours long. The side quests from the main story and arena battles take another few hours at the most. The post-game content can take well over 100 hours. I'm 70 hours in.

Im surprised at the fact that some of you actually played Croc x_x every time I ask people, they have no idea what I'm talking about. I really like that game.

Sonic 2 on it own is way better then that.

How far forward or backward can we go for a game to be a classic because I want to say Tower of Doom, a D&D derivative for the intellivision.

Sonic CD is awesome! I'm playing it on Sonic Gems collection for Gamecube right now, 'cause I still don't have a Sega CD (commercial refernce). I love the color palette and it has the coolest looking Metal Sonic. Although I don't think it's the best Sonic game, the Dr. Robotnik boss battles are pretty weak compared to Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. It's also a lot easier than the other Sonic games imo, I got all the way to Metallic Madness Act 1 on my first playthrough. But I still love it because Sonic 1 sprites are attractive

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is still my favorite Sonic game, so perfect...

Also @Meech: I never really count Sonic and Knuckles as a seperate game but more as an expansion pack for 3, Sonic 3 was way too short on its own and doesn't hold a candle to Sonic 2 without Sonic and Knuckles plugged in. Sonic 3 and Knuckles to me equals Sonic 3.

Random curious thing since I brought out my unpopular sonic opinion, what do people think of Hill top in Sonic 2? It's my favorite zone in the game, but so many people call it the worst.

has anyone played sonic adventure dx, i got it for ten dollars and it's actually suprisingly good

I've played Sonic Adventure.

Sonic Adventure is good if you haven't played Sonic Adventure 2. I feel like SA2 just completely blows the first one out of the water in pretty much everything. I guess you could have an argument for SA1 for some things like a big hub world, but I didn't really like the hub world.

SA2 was really good

i just got sonic 4 and it's pretty good, i like the way you can choose which act you want to play from a list

SA had Chaos in its favour, and the Egg Viper.

SA2 is a much better game though.
