Remasters of the original games will get so much love. The old fans of the series would just be all over them (Including me). Its true that Crash and Spyro have been slaughtered by other companies but the remasters would be nothing like those dreadful games.

I don't mind a couple of HD remakes but I agree completly. New games damn it!

I meant from the developers, not from the gaming community. Obviously the gaming community loves the early Crash games.

I think even if you got a developer who cared about those games to put love into a remake, I just don’t feel it’s worth it. Crash and Spyro were both based around very cartoony art styles, and I don’t think those would benefit hugely from an extra dose of polygons.

HD remakes are better-suited to games with detailed and realistic art styles.

You mean Tawna from the first game. She ran off with Pinstripe.

She was removed and replaced with Coco because she was felt to be not kid-friendly. She eventually reappeared in a DS spin-off game.

That Crash game for DS was awful. My friend has it.

And on that note I wanted to know, did they really completely screw the 60 fps out of these? Originally that's why I wanted these updates...The concept of SotC playing at a full 60 fps had me so excited. the framerate was the only issue in the original.

I bought the collection yesterday. I'm getting my PS3 back from April today. Will play it today. Can't wait. Love games. Good games. Yes.

Crash Bandicoot was great while Naughty Dog were in charge. I loved Twinsanity to pieces, but then Crash was taken away from Traveller's Tales, presumably because executives hate story, characterization, humour and fun gameplay.

I've been playing the hell out of these games when I'm in Michigan. I even got up the balls to do the Time Attacks in SotC which I never did when I had it on the PS2.

I can't wait for The Last Guardian. It's really the only game I'm looking forward to since I mostly stopped playing games.
