When I claimed Americans were a little prententious in the way that SOME like going around saying they're 2.7 % Irish etc., I was in no way referring to the entirety of the population! It was a passing remark, that I have clearly represented to be far more damaging that I intended. I know we have some fairly old world ways of doing things, and many, many, many of us are screaming from the rooftops at every idiot in our nation who refuses to grow the fuck up and let others live in peace without the threat of their guns, or their religious intolerance, or their racial intolerance hanging over our heads. I don't remember my MOST embarrasing moment ever. But this one time in primary school while we were doing some sort of test and everyone was quiet, I dropped my pen next to a classmate's table. I then got out of my seat and bent over to pick up this pen and unintentionally let off a very loud wet fart. Right in a fellow student's face.
