Like all well-traveled and learned Australians, I speak numerous only one language: English.
Alcar... |
I can speak French (my mother tongue), English (of course :D), a little bit of German and some words of Japanese. And if this can be considered as a "language", then I also speak "Franc-Comtois".
Mostly like French peoples but with some particularities that makes peoples from Paris goes like :fuzconf: : - We always put "the" before someone's name : "I just received an E-mail from the Claude. / I was on the phone with the Pascal" - We tend to make fun of other peoples accent (from Paris, Marseille,etc...), even though we have our very own one:happy: - We have tons of words and expressions for our beloved cheeses, sausages and wines as well. And also some for the weather... - And in general, almost every "a" like in "car" is pronounced somewhere in the middle of "aw" in "awful" and "o" in "goal". That's our main characteristic. We get recognized because of this every time. |
