I can honestly say that i would like to meet everyone here.
|
I can honestly say SHUT THE FUCK UP
But I won't. Gee jilly jeepers, I'm no good at this anymore. |
Excuse me?

he's probably pissed. leave him be, i do it all the time. IN FACT I'M DOING IT RIGHT NOW
i may react to 'cunt' or 'he's the one that did it!'. and i would most probably draft anyone i saw into the nearest pub. because i'm like that. |
If I ran into Mat on the street, I doubt he'd recognize me. At that moment I would stare at him for a full minute trying to decide whether or not to tell him it was me. If I did, it would probably just become even more awkward.
I wouldn't tell if I ran into Gabe, as he looks pretty plain and I probably wouldn't think twice if I bumped into him. Justin is a different story. If I ran into him, I would immediately know, because I would likely get impaled on his boney frame and it would be a memorable experience for the both of us. Also his hair. The rest of you I'd probably just show the general niceties and let you be on your merry way, as I know the last thing anyone wants on their way to a destination is to run into someone they're obligated to shoot the shit with. All of the above is quite unlikely though. Not because none of you live nearby, because I never go outside. |
Isn't there an old Oddworld Forums video on youtube where a couple of members meet?
|
If i ran into MA i'd just go smile and hope he recognised me. I like to be supprising like that...
|
i have a pretty photographic memory when it comes to faces and cattle, so if i actually spotted any of you, i would recognise you. as long as i know what you actually look like.

Found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMOYkGo0Qsk Don't you love that sentiment at the end? :) |
Apparently nobody liked the sentiment.
|
What did she say? "Oddworld Forums suck dick" or something?
|
1) If I met OANST, I'd walk away.
2) If I met Havoc, I'd run away. 3) If I met Nate, I'd run away. 4) If I met Opril, I'd... run away I think my immediate reaction on meeting any of you would be to vacate the area at a suitable speed, somewhere between 10 and 30 kilometres an hour. |
Why? I'm not so scary am I?
|
I'd think it would be very creepy to meet people in real life from the internet. Thats why I have such respect for the Oddtour guys and Middlesboogie etc.
Saying that I'd probs not recognise anyone but Kastere, OANST, Havoc and WoF |
I'd recognise some people from here. I'm pretty darn sure of that, other people and it's just be a case of "Hey s/he looks like ... wait a second!"...
|
I would find it completely awkward. I would hate to have my physical life and my internet life collide. And I second Laser, I respect those 3 people who met in real life.
|
I hate people who use the term 'real life'.
To the best of my knowledge nobody here has as of yet, I'm just throwing that one out there. |
So, this one time in real life...
|
Since I seem to have less and less friends I can meet in the flesh and more and more friends who live hundreds of miles away from me with every passing year I feel that the term 'Real life' is heavily derisive.
I use offline and online because I'm the good kind of ascetic recluse. |
Going to Uni is the only time i will ever consider getting facebook.
|
my mates are drunks and about double my age, my mates here are around my age and study quantum physics.
i have an equally good laugh with both groups. EDIT: probably more so with the first group, actually. |
I use the term "real life" freely. The social mechanics of 'online' and 'offline' friends are suitably different, even when the online and offline realms overlap, via Facebook or OddTours. Derisive it may seem, I'm not going to replace it with the term "offline".

Are you a hooter? Because you look like a hooter to me.

So racist.
