New Year's eve is painfully boring just two days off from work and an excuse to drink for me really, this decade went so fast :/

I spent my evening on the internet talking to Fuzzle Guy.

So not much of a change from last year.

I drank. A lot.

I didn't do anything. I went to bed at quarter past twelve, mainly because I was bitterly disappointed that nothing amazing happened at the stroke of midnight. It was the same as any other fucking night.

Also, on Boxing Day I drank about five drinks or so of Jägermeister, which, although I was not nearly drunk, made me incredibly sick. It could have been drinking it as I ate a bowl of spaghetti...

Whatever. Anyway, my New Years was just as boring as any other day here in Middla Nowhere, Australia.

Here's one from a couple days ago while I was in London, waiting to see the new years fireworks.

Oh, I saw the fireworks, whereabouts where you to watch them? I was on Westminster bridge.

I was right near Embankment station, more or less right in front of the London Eye.

How were they this year? The 2007 fireworks were a fucking dud.

Very good, the actual events organising was worse than before, nothing was projected on the Shell building other than the countdown, even worse music, and no one started auld lang syne. >(
