Hell yes.
Sexual reference to a child pales into insignificance in the face of how much he hates RoboRaptor. |
Yes, I hate Roboraptor that much.
Anyway, the two ideas that I'm liking the most are the Creepy Crawlers, and the second link that DI posted :
I also liked the Capsella stuff, but I think that I'm done buying building toys for this year. I seriously got her a lot of lego's. |
|
Are you sure? It looks arsehole-ish.
|
I just ordered the Creepy Crawlers set, and some extras for it. She'll like that.
|
I win! :D ... maybe... If she hates it I'll surely get an asswhooping x_x
Oh well... Hope she enjoys it :D! |
Be sure to keep the Creepy Crawlers thing clean, it has a tendency to get very messy if left unkempt. The "plasti-goop", if I recall, is very oily in nature and will remain wet for an eternity if it isn't cleaned up.
I remember there was this special set of Creepy Crawlers that came with wire armatures to put in the mold so your creatures could bend. Dunno if that's still around, but it's worth a look. BTW, the toy was so popular it had it's own spin-off cartoon show. The show was not nearly as popular. http://www.retrojunk.com/img/tvshows/creepy_sm_933.jpg |
I'm sure she'll love it. I'll make sure to keep it clean, too.
This isn't the end of the shopping, so suggestions are still being taken! I remembered that I loved Monster in My Pocket when I was kid, so I looked it up. It turns out that there is a new set, but it isn't being sold in the U.S., and I can't find an online store that has them. So that sucks. |
I remember Monster in My Pocket, the show. It was pretty awful if I recall, but kids love it. I also loved Dr. Dreadful's Freaky Food Lab, which was as messy as they come. I'm pretty sure they don't make them anymore though.

I remember there's a Skeleton toy thing that lets you combine dinosaur bones to get new crazy dino monsters... would she be interested in that?
|

|
Oh, here we go.
Not sure how rampant they are in toy aisles, but they still have a website. They do mythological titans, Dinosaurs, and aliens too, so that's a pretty decent selection. |
They're pretty cheap, too. I might grab a few after I put some more money on my card.
|
does she like sloths? i fucking love sloths. these 'teddy bear' sloths are awesome.

Go for Skeleflex.
|
Sloths are pretty cool, but I don't think that I will buy any more stuffed animals this year.
|
It's called My Little Cthulhu. You can get one [or several!] here.
But wait, there's an alternative! They're called Mythos Buddies. They're blind boxed, which a six year old may love or hate equally. The price is pretty steep considering how small they are, but I assume she has small hands, so that might not be such a draw for her. You can get them here. Edit: Okay, so I didn't do so well digging up links. The first is for a preorder, and I think the second is for wholesale. I'd dig a little more, but I have to get back to work. Sorry. |
How about an old fashioned board game? I loved those as a kid.

The hair or the sex with kids? BETTER NOT SAY BOTH BROWN NOSER |
You'd better stop with the 'sex with kids' shit; you're not funny, and really quite hurtful.
|
hope that's sarcastic, Pilot?
|
No. Jokes can be taken too far, MA. Why would I be sarcastic?
|
alright. leaving it at that.
|
At what? I don't care for sick jokes about adults having sex with six year olds, nor any implications of such.
|
i said that so it wouldn't turn into an argument.
i genuinely agree with you, you should know that, its just different sense's of humour vary, including yours. i didn't know if you were being sarcastic or not. i agree with you, okay? end of. i cant believe i'm talking about this. LOVE YOU pirate stuff to get this back on topic |
MA, the Great Thread Equalizer. It's been said before, but I don't know where else a thread about Christmas toys can degenerate into a discussion about buying your kid a sex toy for Christmas. ;)

Awwwwww, Stevie!
What about books? Is she interested in animals at all? |
She seems the clever type.... now what about an electronic project lab- putting together wires and electronic components to build different devices like lie detectors and electronic thermometers. Long shot?

and i like the skeleton parts lollipops in that link, but it wouldn't let me copy the picture. |
