To clear this up, that picture of Watarase Jun is fanart, not an official image. His character in the show and dating sim is a childhood friend of the main character who dresses like that for the "good" of his friend, but the protagonist has no interest because he's not gay. So Jun is the only character you can't have sex with in the game, or even romance.

Oh, well that makes it all okay.

And for the record, you saying that my opinion doesn't count doesn't necessarily make it fucking so. If anything, you are the one with the suspect opinion. Rabid fans don't typically think too clearly about the subject of their fandom.

I understand where you're coming from. You enjoy this stuff from an artistic standpoint, and you also have an emotional attachment to the material. However, if these people were drawing these characters with a young teen appearance, and then saying they were older teens, well that wouldn't be such a stretch. As has been pointed out, there are a lot of very petite people out there. The problem that I have is when you start trying to pass off children who appear to be anywhere from seven to nine as being sixteen. Unless you are qualifying this by stating that they have some sort of anti-ageing disease then there is no other logical conclusion that I can come to other than that these people are sexually attracted to the form of small children. And no amount of transparent "it's art" talk is going to make it more than what it is: foul and repugnant.

It's anime, the least accurate portrayal of humans in the known world. Stfu. Its not a child, it doesn't look like a child (to me at least), and even if it was, did I mention it's anime? Fiction. Ink. Cartoon. False.

Not a single piece of this spoke anything more than "This thread upset my girlfriend, and so I think it's stupid". Yes, it's anime, but that doesn't mean that these people aren't drawing exactly what they want to draw. Non-pedophile anime artists are quite good at drawing people according to their age. Your argument however, is that this sort of thing is so common that it's stupid to even comment on it. Well, that's pretty fucking stupid.

It is a child. It looks exactly like a child. Which means that whoever drew that is living out a sick fantasy through their "art". Should it be illegal to have something like that? No. Does that mean that isn't repugnant, or disgusting? No.

It's not a child. Ghost, the original poster of the picture, confirmed this. And it's a pretty big assumption to say that the artist is living out some "sick" fantasy through this drawing. Have you ever even watched anime? All the characters look like that, even the adult characters. There's nothing "sick" about it, nor is there some kind of hidden meaning to their design, its just the way it is and always has been. If you don't agree with the way they're designed, fine, but it still stands that just because it looks like a child doesn't mean it is one.

However, if you're only continuing this argument for trolling purposes and it's meant as a big joke; then more power to you. Because thats fucking awesome.

For those of you who are too new to know this, what you see above was my default posting style for years. I stopped it because I finally realized that I was being a dick, and it was uncalled for. If the conversation is over, it will end. Simple as that. We shouldn't just go around closing threads because either the subject or tone are making people uncomfortable. Now, if the thread started attracting pedophiles who were joining our forum to do nothing other than post in here, then I would obviously be handing "Get the fuck out" videos out to everyone I came across. I would then also desire it to be closed. But if it's just our community having a discussion, I see no reason to close it. It's probably done now, anyway.
