Cats don't smoke cigarettes.
I was about to say "... thank you for that input, OANST" when I remembered that, being OANST, it is far more likely that I have misunderstood than that OANST has become unto Angry Greeter.
I wouldn't be too sure about that.
Jo I don't intend to ever smoke anything except maybe I will try a cuban some time, Once
I would adore trying a cuban.
EDIT: Arn't you on holiday OANST? |
I would adore something phallic in your mouth, too.
What are you trying to say?
and then we're back to sexual innuendo.
I love Cigars. Helps me focus.
=/
I cant enjoy smoking a cigar because i enjoy filling my lungs with the smoke. And also my mind cant allow me to enjoy it because its so cancerous.

Now Black n Mild's also known as the poor man's cigar.. I Inhale those maybe every other hit. They are actually not very harsh and come in some good flavors. Also if you remove the cardboard cancer paper that makes them burn slowly and replace your tobaccy in it in a process known as "freaking" it, you will enjoy it more although time consuming and fast burning if not faster then a cigarette. |
Cardboard cancer paper? Would this happen to be made of nano particles, obesity, sugary drinks, alcohol, bacon, ham, processed meats, salt, saturated fat, sugar and energy saving lightbulbs?
Now see, I did not know you weren't meant to inhale from a cigar. I learnt something.
:
But- I inhale cigar smoke whenever I have one! Oh noes, I'm going to die of clogged arteries and lung cancer when I'm 40!
Then stop doing it.
But it's tasty cancer!

Also, the things I smoke don't contain as many chemicals as mass-produced cigarettes anyway. It's just the shredded tobacco leaves, not fillers and such to keep said tobacco burning down to the filter. |
I hate smokes, can't stand them. But the Glukkons seem to enjoy em, so go for it!
More smokes sold, more moolah! I just can't stand people that argue for marijuana to be legal despite the brain damage it can cause. Pretty ignorant IMO. |
:
Why do you assume that because if a person can accept the legal sale of smokes, they are therefore in agreement with every other health concern on the market?
A super-sized meal won't slip me into depression, an extra treat after dinner won't give me brain damage, and a smoke during lunch-break won't lower my job performance. Use these products, don't abuse them. Thats the rule here. |
Again, my principle.
If it only hurts the person performing the action, I don't give a shit. |
:
...and the argument about pot causing brain damage is a weak one seeing as so many modern pharmaceuticals can be much worse- acetaminophen (Tylenol) causing liver damage, for example. In moderation it's great but if *abused* guess what? The moral here, as you've ultimately concluded is exactly correct: everything is harmful when abused/used in excess. Now since water is so good for us, let's all jump in a lake. |
:
I won't mention the other victims from familes I know because thats personal. Your argument seems to be "it doesn't matter because this is worse" Really? Because that doesn't comfort me much, nor does it solve anything. Better argument would be "smoking pot is bad, and hey, these pharmaceuticals suck too!" But no, smoking pot is apprently 'fine' because there are 'other things' to worry about. That is a way of thinking that I just don't understand. |
Except that you have absolutely no proof to back up your idea that pot is the culprit. Why would you assume that pot was the source of your father's depression?
Yeah- it does tend to cause apathy and irresponsibility when overused. Pot's got a mild form of Acid in it so getting stoned to the point that your brain shuts off, and repeatedly, is the worst way to use it.
It works as a dynamite pain killer though. You don't mention any of the positive attributes; from what you've said you don't indicate to know of any. The basis of my argument is in fact that there are more harmful things out there that are being used every day but it's considered "acceptable"- someone foolish enough to misuse any substance or product in light of reported complications it can cause is only inviting the consequence. I'm hardly a pot advocate, I just like to see balanced viewpoints. |
