Of course, this can be said about the father, but the mother is 15. Mature enough age to fully understand the consequences of her actions, course she could be one of those girls who just wants a baby. I really have a hatred towards people like that, not caring if they are prepared or ready, just wanting one. Like that bitch who got octoplets through test tubes and will probably use tax payer money to raise them.

As I said, she has another ten years of neurological development ahead of her. Even car insurers and credit card companies have to deal with immature brains, so long is their development. And as I said, the part of the brain that deals with consequences is the last to develop. Sure, they can understand consequences when they are spelled out for them, when they happen, even beforehand in theory. But when it comes down to the decision making process, it doesn't factor in so well. People's decisions can only ever be a function of what their brain is capable of. There is a certain amount of autonomy in the neural process.

The youngest parents here in Switzerland I heard are both 13. At least, the mom knows what to do with a baby. As for the dad... well, they didn't mention him in the news now that I think about it. Guess, he ran away. :)
