Naw, I just do the line art on paper, scan it on, then colour it digitaly. http://fc27.deviantart.com/fs25/i/20...killyaslig.png A more docile class of Harvesters, this thickly-armored creature uses its thick tusks to root up the earth, in order to find way-ward un-dead, which may have tried to escape Harvestation by burrowing under the earth. Due to the type of material the tusks and horns are made of, it makes them extremely durable, and able to crush through rocks and other debris if need be. The Rootler is the smallest of Harvesters, with more length then height, and it hardly even has its head raised, instead keeping its face low to the ground, so it can sniff out the spirits that have burrowed below it. The beast has large front arms, that have wide nails. This aids in the creatures digging abilities, so it can burrow at amazing speed. Its skin is thick, and almost 5cm thick, and with the green hue. The thickness means it will no be cut by bits of jagged rock, or torn wood and bone underground. The spikes along the plates of amour slow down the Rootler underground, which means it is not very good at chasing high-speed sub-terrainian un-dead and spirits. If this happens, one of the Harvesters above ground, may help the Rootler by digging in front of the fleeing spirit, routing it back towards the Rootler. As always, the Rootler has a legalized documentation which out-lines its right to up-root the earth in order to capture run-a-way after lifes. Due to its six legs, the Rootler has great stability, and is nigh impossible for the beast to fall over. Like all Harvesters, a bird is constantly seen with it. The Rootlers bird is quite fat and puffy, with raised plumage. This bird perches on a wire that stretches between the creature's front two horns. Yays, another one ^^ |

Todd looks like something more along the lines of a dragon/rabbit/snake than a tricerotops, but I love it all the same (^_^) The straight-jacket is really nice too...now I wonder what he's in it for?:D

They walk on their 'tip-toes', giving them an extra sense of height, and also helps them to be quite fast, able to run down swift prey. These Harvesters typically chase after any water dwelling spirits, or the dead who have been killed in bogs, ponds or creeks. They use their massive tridents to impale the corpses and drag them back to shore, or, if the body is far away, they will use it like a spear, and hurl the pointed end to pierce the dead. It is easy to see that these creatures are water dwellers, as the gleam from moister, and have sea creatures growing from them. The Water Wades seem to have large clusters of barnacles growing from their chests, where some scientists speculate that this is where the animals heart is located, so the barnacles grow over this, to protect the Harvester from harm. Also, most Water Wades have octopi clinging to them. These octopi are seen slithering around the Harvesters body, sometimes changing colours like strange living lights. Crustaceans are typically found clinging, their sharp claws digging into the creatures skin. Like the majority of other Harvesters, The Water Wade keeps it face covered, this on in the form of a black fishing net. Its other clothing includes a skirt made from fresh sea-weed, with a clam belt. The Water Wades fingers are long and extremely flexible, and are dotted with suckers. This helps the Harvester to get a good grip on any unruly dead, that may try to escape. It has a long snout, with long feelers growing from the side. They only have teeth on the bottom jaw, with a scaled upper mouth. Most Water Wades have a long hook producing from their mouth, as though each have been 'fished' Like all of its breathern, the Water Wade has a bird that is always present. This Harvesters bird is one of the biggest, and is coiled around the staff of the creatures trident. The bird has a jagged beak, like the ancient fish eater birds. Its lower half is scaly like a fish, with webbed fins. It also has webbed wings, and a miniature shark fin producing from its back. Like every other Harvester, this one carries a sealed document which legally allows the Harvester to collect any body, or zombie which is near a body of water. WATER! RAWR |

The steed has four long toes tipped with thick hoofs that give the creature great speed and stability when it chases after its prey. It also give the creature good footing on almost any surface, even loose stones and bark chips. Four arms help the creature to seize the way-ward animated dead. Massive blades grow from the fore-most arms, helping the animal to impale and disable prey. The other pair are long fingered hands, to clasp prey and giving the creature time to maul the zombies with it massive jaw. The jaw is filled with sharp amour piercing fangs. Long tusks produce from the beasts maw, allowing the creature to knock people clean off their feet. The horns growing from the upper and lower lip allow the creature to stab prey in the spine, crippling them and preventing them from going any further. The tongue acts like an extra arm, able to grasp objects and shoot out with bone crushing force, snapping limbs and cracking skulls. Spines grow from the front of the tongue, and are extremely sharp, like blades. The spine is extremely twisted, with bits of flesh peeling way to expose the bone beneath it. The ribs form a thick barrel-like shape, which bellies the thinness of the rest of the steeds frame. Smoke is constantly twisting from the steeds nostrils, but it simply remains attached to the creature, constantly twisting and changing colours. It is unknown at this point, if the steed is able to breathe fire. The rider is far more thing, and lank, though this is covered by the dark robe the creature is clothed in. The arms producing from the riders shoulders can summon balls of dark magic, which it can fling at wondering undead with terrible accuracy. The rider also has a long feathery tail, and head, with a jagged burnt-orange beak. Like the majority of other Harvesters it has a mask obscuring its face. Another two sets of arms produce from the riders tail, one has long fingers that edged in poison that paralyze victims. The other arms end in large gaping mouths that bite and snap slowly. This Harvester relies more on its steed, but it is thought that they are actually the the same creature, as they communicate with each other without any see able movements, thought to have a telepathic link with each other. The Flesh Steeds bird is found on a perch on the tail, and its tail resembles the riders, but with only three extensions. The feathers are a rustic brown, with other shades mixed in. Like every other Harvester, The Flesh Steed has a legalized sheet of parchment which allows the creature to hunt the more active undead, and has custody of its steed. Yaya, another Harvester ^^ |
