WHY THE FUCK
HAS THIS FORUM NOT GONE CRAZY OVER THIS GAME I was very much expecting a hell of a lot more replies about the game. but no, we've got a popular thread on GOW2, how extremely innovative. |
Becuz the ending sucks.
|
Very very true. The ending is gay in every respect, regardless of karma.
I've got like 2 more achievements then it's Fallout 3 almost done for me. |
I still stubbornly prefer the originals. Fallout 3 isn't a proper fallout game, but it is a damn good game.
|
It's an Oblivion game. if you're an Oblivion gamer, it'll be right up your arse as it's the same shit different skin.
have all the achievements now and I kind of have nothing to do. |
The sad thing is, it's better than oblivion.
|
It is indeed, in all aspects but one: longevity. I literally have done everything in Fallout 3, bar finding the Firelancer via random occurance or whatever. hopefully there'll be some DLC for the game soon enough.
If you're playing the console versions, have you noticed the Downloads menu option only comes up as soon as you finish the game? Like, only then. If you turn your console off and on, it'll be grey until you finish the game and go back to the menu again. |
Surprisingly when i played fallout 3 i was pleased with it. of course it has a few changes from the original but im always open for a lil change and when thay release the sdk for fallout 3 trust me it will be remade by some crazy fan boy =p. also i was all like WOOT when i found dog meat in the scrap yards i almost shot him in the face thinking he was a wild savage dog. but yeah.. .thats just me

About the Construction set: Fallout 3's game files are .esm and .bsa, esm standing for Elder Scrolls map. both of those files types have been used in the two previous Elder Scrolls Construction Kits. has anyone actually just tried opening them in the Oblivion CS? I mean come on. it can't be that hard when they're the exact same file type in the exact same game engine.slightymodifiedforyousmartcunts

Wow, so apparently Fallout 3 is amazing and I haven't noticed.
Um, so. Should I get Fallout or Fable II? I'm torn. I love British quirkiness and such, but apparently dystopia is pretty great too. Hmm. |
Fallout 3. Fable is fun, but very short in comparison. If you liked Oblivion (MAYBE) then it's pretty much same shit different skin ie guns. It's very fun. I'd say purchase Fallout and hire Fable, as they are both quite fun, but Fable II definitely falls shorter.
both of the games, however, have sucky endings. |
The game rulez totally.
|
:
Yeah, I like both, have finished both, both are going on the shelf as good but not overtly replayable. |
quite.
Now come on Deus Ex 3 and the unofficially announced Elder Scrolls V. |
Playing it right now and I can't help but love it. Finally a game that doesn't point out every single detail of what you need to do and which you don't play all the way through in a mere 20 hours.
Down side of course is, I just stepped on a landmine which blew off my arm and leg. Gotta love this game. |
:
(Also cool beast races.) |
YOU GET A FUCK YEAH
:
Hey Anonyman!, check this shit out. Looks like Morrowind in the future with guns, not Oblivion. |
:
Ugh female gamers... |
OH NO THERE'S AN ENEMY I will proceed to shoot at the floor and get frustrated when I'm killed.
Aw but we love em. you know it's a woman gamer when someone's favourite game is Muppet Race Mania on the PS1. |

EDIT: The game does look awesome. However, the developers are Eastern European and it shows through the grammar of the website. Hopefully, the game will have a better translation. |

I gave her a short training and then we both went into a live server with real players. She was just running around somewhere in the middle of nowhere, 60.000 miles from the closest fight, loudly complaining about how there was no-one there XD. She ended up walking around unharmed for half an hour. You can guess what happened when she finally got to one of the flags... She hasn't touched the game since XD |
My girlfriend is actually better at most games than me, thus destroying my last vestiges of male dominance. I live in mortal fear of her casual gaming skills.
Bitch. |
My girlfriend doesn't like Fable 2. I mean what the fuck. You can clothe yourself, redecorate your house, get a haircut and dye your clothes whatever colours you want. Why she would choose Fallout 3 over Fable 2 is beyond my male comprehension.
:
edit: holy shit I didn't know this game had sex scenes |
lol.. RickRolled...

I'm sorry. I just thought it had been too long since someone made a tiger joke. |
I actually agree so thanks for keeping the record updated. :)
|
I'm not entirely sure if I can say whether or not Bethesda ruined it at all, simply because I hadn't even heard of Fallout before Fallout 3, but I loved Oblivion, and critics seem to agree that Bethesda did an awesome job making it, as do I.
|
well, if one hasn't even heard of, let alone played the original Fallout titles, they are in no position to argue that Bethesda 'ruined' anything
|
Hmmm, well, I've enjoyed the game alot, expecially within the vaults, but it appears that it has Oblivion syndrome in that it gives you too much alterfication and responcibility, it's a video game, I don't want to constantly repair my weapons, and sell all of my useless shit, and seeing them and your appearance properly (is there a way to see your face in game without using the VATS?) would be nice aswell.
I mean, I don't know about you, but a post apocloyptic life simulator would be quite boring. That being said, I'm enjoying it quite a bit, small things like entering a supermarket with raiders clambering over the shelves searching for you is awesome. It's amazing to see how vaired conversations can go, wow, and the impact afterwards, you realy have to watch your words in some cases. New expansions sound great aswell, but I've got a tonne to do in this game first. |
