-- ALRIGHT, new art! Finally, it's done. Took me many days. It's Alector's character. |
Great pic! Looks a bit like a griffin.
|
That's because it is a griffin.
Thanks! |
I like the little fish on the left of the first pic with all them doodles, Strangers Maid. Could you work that out?
Also, I really love all them Impish characterz. Theyse funneh! |
I don't really plan to work out doodle characters. I already got too many other things on my list but I do appreciate that you like that fish! :D
What impish characters? From which picture? |
Wow great picture!
It's so beautiful. Love your art. =D |
Thank you very much, OddYouko!
__ Okay, this is not exactly art with characters in it, but I currently work for a journal design on my account on www.GloomyUnderwoods.deviantart.com which is a site in which I and other artists submit our artworks. I needed a kinda host, so I'm gonna misuse this forum now. :) |
Recently, I had a blast from the past.
I totally miss that cartoon now. |
Its Darkwing Duck!
Man, I used to hate that show, but now that I think about it I kind of liked it. Awesome work, as usual. :D |
I loved that show. Used to watch a video I had of it every day. Great job.
|
Thank you very much for your comments. :)
It's always nice to hear when people enjoy my art. __ Adahy, one of my characters. I restyled quite a lot, coloring style and parts of his look and anatomy. The other pictures are things I need for a journal design on an art site account. I needed a host... so yeah. EDIT: New banner! |
Stunning as always :) I love the colouring on the mane.
|
The mane was the worst part to color. Good to hear that you like it! :)
|
Those last three are really good too. :)
How long have you been drawing? Cause those are all really good. |
Thank you, OddYouko! :)
The pencil sketch for the Adahy picture took me about an hour, I think. Drawing the lineart on Photoshop probably took me around three to four hours or so (I'm picky with lines, and work with big sizes too). The coloring... hm, in this case it was the longest part because I tried out a few coloring styles before I decided to leave it the way you see here. Probably, it took around six hours, but I don't know. I should check the time when I do art now that I think about it. Sorry, I can't give good answers. The things I needed for journal design are made with arts which were already done, I only added and changed few things about it. This took less than an hour. |
I never really checked out your art before, but I think this stuff is pretty neat! :)
I really like the animal character. It looks kind of like a manticore/horse hybrid. |
:
Nevertheless, it's spectacular. |
:
Now that you mention it, Adahy does look similiar to a manticore/horse creature. When I designed him, I wanted to give him a dragon/tiger/scorpion look. But fantasy creatures don't know any limit, so there are big chances he looks similiar to them. ^^ :
__ New picture! |
I had to check all your new pics since I came back. They're all very good!!! Especially the second last, I'm using it for my desktop theme!!! I love it!!! I'd say... I love you're art!!! Please show us new pics :)
|
Aww poor Frank.
Awesome art! |

__ I toy with the idea of a "The Priestess 2" after the first comicbook is done. But Force Of The Machines will probably be the second comic before there might be a The Priestess 2 at all. The Priestess 2 will show a reptile-ish species that admired the power of mankind and wanted to be just like humans. So they started speaking their language (with a really funny accent), wear clothes, stand on the back-legs,... and the most important thing, they created a religion to believe in. Because of their religion, they consider it to be precious to have no eyes, to be blind forever. So they'd cut out the eyes of their children as soon as they hatch. Sounds sick? No matter what I do, my stories are never stranger than reality. This was inspired by female genital mutilation , and will also be the subtitles of The Priestess 2 . There are too less stories told about taboo-topics. I don't know why. It's probably part of the taboo-supports, else these cruel things wouldn't continue just like that. Here's a little info about female genitial mutalition: Numbers of girls getting mutilated in a year: 2'000'000! Now let's all count to two millions and imagine different girl faces, different lives, different hearts, and different screams during the mutilating with every number. 1...2...3...4...5... Numbers of mutilated women and girls in the world, in the meantime: 130'000'000! Hmm......1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... Shit, that's a really big number, you know! No matter what these happy people tell you with "Females are not THAT oppressed, so relax!" I can't relax. And I won't. Please treat your wifes, female friends, and female relatives just as good as if they'd be males. And if not, burn in hell. Oh, here's a little important thing about this character design here to tell. The female reptile-creatures don't have any boobs, since they're reptiles and no mammals. (Another reason why they'll never be sexy.) The right one that holds up the baby to get its eyes cut out is the mother of the baby too. Obviously, these creatures seem to be totally fine with their religion. The kids, which won't remember how it is like to see, are happy with being blind too. It's the belief they grew up with ("Hey, Johnny! Today's finally the day of getting your eyes cut out!" "Yay!"), so they believe it's precious to be blind too. It's that easy! The hard thing is to change their belief. |
:
Also you have awesome ideas, and I like the elephant but you already knew that right? :p |
That's creepy in a way, in a really good way. It looks like some dinosaur in robes. (Raptor Jesus?!) Incredible though, really incredible.
|
Prekash is the the little saber's name? PLEASE LET HIM LIVE!!!

I don't plan to draw more pages since this was only a commission bought by someone whose one of his characters is Prakash. But he also told me that the story I drew ended up as a nightmare of Prakash's, so he didn't really die. :) |
Oh sorry but the comic was so good
|
No need to feel sorry about it. :)
-- This is a drawing of a friend I colored, because he asked me to do it. Here's the story behind this character. "Once there was little girl named Pan. When she was born, her parents were horrified to discover that she had two horns growing out of her head. Believing her to be a demon, they abandoned her in the jungle, chained to an egg. When the egg hatched, Acho (this character) was born. The chain that once bound her to the egg now bound her to the creature, and her parents had intended for Acho to eat her once he had grown large enough. Things went differently, however, as Pan was able to tame Acho with her music playing, and the two have formed a close bond (both figuratively and literally, due to the chain). She communicates to him with solely her music, and he is fiercely protective of her" Yeah, sorry. The girl and the chain is missing here. |
