Deat Castlevania:Potrait of ruin for 1000% :D:D:D:D:D:D
Time for some DoS.

EDIT: The hell is that on topic!?

Paramite of War 09-08-2007 07:33 PM

I cant understand the god damned Kraut what the wtf is she saying at the end lol. I think its the bad ending though. Which btw is gay it makes you think its gonna be longer and yet it stops.

Mac Sirloin 09-09-2007 11:10 AM

If you mean Bioshock, she speaks in french, or francais, whatever.

*Spoiler*

If you get the bad ending, she tells you that you showed the little sisters all that you showed them before, brutality.

The good ending shows you being all nice and helping them escape.

*End Spoiler*

If someone feels that is a spoiling it, sorry, and the mods are free to edit it.
Oh, and I actually think That Bioshock and MP3 are on the same level, no biased opinions any more.

Mojo 09-10-2007 08:22 AM

Actually, do you even know what a Kraut stands for?

It's GERMAN. As in Sauerkraut??? Does Tenenbaum sound FRENCH to you?

Havoc 09-10-2007 10:17 AM

Heck the entire accent is as German as it comes. French, seriously?

Xavier 09-10-2007 10:25 AM

lol when was the last time you heard French? It's obviously German, by the way she is talking about Nazism if I recall correctly. About the gene of sin or something like that

Mac Sirloin 09-10-2007 10:43 AM

Really? Is there a possibility it was region sensitive? I am SURE it was french.

*checks on youtube*

Edit: French, I am Positive its french, and its reason sensitive, as well.

Xavier 09-10-2007 11:25 AM

Give the link to the youtube video you saw. I'm interested to know how she sounds in my language :)

Mac Sirloin 09-10-2007 11:31 AM

Here Ya go.

And it was the volume, Oddly enough, It is german, but I had the volume low so I heard french.

Spooky.

Havoc 09-10-2007 11:35 AM

Still, in one of her audio diaries you pick up in the medical pavalion she says how she grew up in Germany so yea :P

Mac Sirloin 09-10-2007 11:36 AM

I guess you figured out I just looked it up on Youtube then :D.

I plan on buying it.

mudling 10-09-2007 07:58 PM

Playing it, just had a break, it's awsome, from the moment you

*Spoilers ahead*
crash enter Rapture, and see the whale swimming through the city, it's just amazing.
A tad confusing without subtitles for the auidio recorders, as I miss some of the words, but the game is fantastic.
One thing, when that submerine thing explodes, I didn't quite get that, was that the family you were supposed to save, and was that blond man you see Atlas?
I'm in that garden place now, and am saving all of the little sisters I can, I assume that's what gets you the good or bad ending, the game has gone quickly however yet the boss is mentioned to be my next goal, which kind of sucks as I felt like it only just began and now it's going to end.
*edit* Actually, going forward It seemed like I was less than half way through, which is great!

Mac Sirloin 10-10-2007 04:00 AM

The Submarine has Atlas' family in it.

Luskan 10-10-2007 06:49 AM

I preordered this game for the day it came out. All i needed to know is that it had good gameplay and story and thats it for me. Its a brilliant game everything is near perfect -the characters, the graphics, the authenticity. The vioce acting is superb also. The only niggle i have is the shooting. Its quite hard compared to most first person shooters (partially because your screen goes red). But nonetheless, its a near masterpiece. I just wish there were more games around that had really engrosing stories and gameplay.

mudling 10-10-2007 06:25 PM

Oh ok, thanks, I must of misheard as Ryan's family.
*Warning, possible minor spoilers ahead*
And thanks for whoever blacked oout my text, I still can't figure out how to do it.
But I found out how to look at the auidio messages with subtitles so it's all good.
I feel so sorry for the big daddies most of the time, because they never seem to attack me first, but I understand that's what the game is about.
I did manage to find a freindly NPC, a plumber who was fixing the pipes under a desk in the Farmer's markets, he was quickly killed though.

Leto 10-10-2007 07:26 PM

I gave this a go, and somehow it's just for me. How can I not like a game that is essentially Deus Ex + Doom3? I have no idea. Sad.

I never got there. I didn't want to bother opening that gate and you only get the code 2 levels or so later. Going back didn't seem like it was worth it.

mudling 10-11-2007 03:37 PM

*Spoilers again*

I am stuck now, on that level with the poet pianist or whoever (The one who shuts off the raidio transmissions to Atlas and Ryan) I mean, it says go down Fleet hall, I do that, and can't go through the second glass door, which is now burned with fire and cracked but not brocken, also, there's a crate with a plamid/ gene tonic, I have the code (7774)but it won't let me enter it. There doesn't seem to be any walkthroughs to the game as I guess no one but me needs one.
Owell, great game so far.
*Edit* Got through that bit, didn't kill the boss though, now aparently I have to kill the boss but it seems there are several more levels.
Well you need to to progress in the game don't you? Farmer's market is quite a nice level, and has one big daddy, and although I hate the backtracking you have to, and it's not too far untill you reach the farmer's markets which gives you ingrediants that are usuefull for later.

Fuzzle King 10-12-2007 07:56 AM

i am in a split decision to buy bioshock.im not sure...
is it REALLY good?

the pirate 10-12-2007 08:24 AM

Yes, the graphics are just mind blowing. And the game play is exactly like System Shock 2 (Which BioShock is the spiritual successor to BTW)

Mac Sirloin 10-13-2007 04:48 PM

The Pirate, you have surpassed Rupture farms as hte best noob here, god bless you.

the pirate 10-14-2007 06:29 AM

Why, did you say that? Im not a noob, im a newb

Mac Sirloin 10-14-2007 07:16 AM

What the hell is your problem? I complimented you, you ass.

Way t edit it, dicknuts.

Mojo 10-14-2007 07:56 AM

Perhaps the choosing of the word noob was wrong. I at first thought it was a sneer as well. But then I remembered RF to truly be a good poster.

Kastere, it's highly probable the pirate didn't know about you liking RF. Therefor, his reaction is quite understandable, since noob is a generally negative word.

the pirate, he WAS complimenting you. I expect an apology. On a different note, please refrain from double posting, use the "Edit" button instead. And no foul language.

the pirate 10-14-2007 08:31 AM

ok, but i really didnt know that he was complimenting me, and i took it the wrong way. Im not on this site most of my time, im on another site, and there we use the term "Noob" as someone who is Trolling the forums. Sorry

Laser 10-14-2007 10:55 AM

what an interesting definition of a n00b on that forum.

anyway i have to say that bioshock is probally going to be one of the best games i have ever played (until crysis)

Mac Sirloin 10-14-2007 10:57 AM

A Troll is someone who is Trolling, a shocking revelation, I am sure.

Oh, and FYI, I don't appreciate being called a 'nigga' in PM's.

Partially because I am clearly caucasian, then there's the fact that it's a offensive and demeaning term.

Well, depending on your gang, at least.

Mojo 10-15-2007 11:33 AM

Fo' sho', nigga!

Mac Sirloin 10-16-2007 12:55 PM

Yeah, but you're joking, he was being a jew.

mudling 10-17-2007 02:12 AM

Umm, jew is also an offensing a demeaning term, applied to non Jews of course, or what I mean to say it is used in an offensive and demeaning way.
Sorry If I offended any Jews in any way.
Anyway, got right to the last level, holy crap I feel sorry for the splicers, and the characters are sooo deep, expecially Ryan (Wow) and Cohen (*Minor spoiler* Couldn't bring myself to kill him, might do so on the harvesting way through), expecially the "I want to take the ears off the rabbit, but I can't!" and actually everything he says.
I mean, even the australian and mcoen or whoever, the english guy who *Spoiler* gets killed and hung up as a trophey. Wow, wow, sure this game is like alot of FPS in some ways, except it is not only one of the best FPS ever made, it is very much art, and very deep, it actually has a story, and a great one.
Haven't finnished yet, can pretty much guess the end though.
But every character, even the minions from the religeous guys (Jesus loves me, this I know, becuase the bible tells me so), the woman speaking to her baby (Which is *spoiler* apprently a gun), the little sisters and big daddies (Please get up Mr B.), to the dancers who dance to Cohan's music.
This game has nailed it, and even though has a few issues in controls and such, for a FPS, it realy has set standards.
I must say, Ryan and Cohen and together with Molluck and possibly Seckto my favourite game characters of all time.
And the water and the ocean, wow, just wow, the design, it's amazing, setting in the 60's was a realy good choice, and the game is realy fun. I mean, how many games do you drop your gun and start taking shots from your cammera instead, Bioshock is truely an imaninative and supurb game, quite possibly, one of the best of all time, that I have played anyway.
I'm not a fan at all of FPS, sure, I play Halo 2 some times (my bro has it), and it is fun, but Bioshock had nailed it, and to think I wasn't too keen on getting it, and ditched playing it at one stage.
One thing I can't understand is the achievements thing, does it actually do anything, or is it just for self gratification, and how do you see it?

Ok, I'm going to stop going on about Bioshock, in this forum at least, lol.
