But still, it's like she's pissing on the grave of her son. i'll repeat myself: He knew the risks, he knew he would probably go to Iraq, and he still signed up for the army, with this knowledge. He died for something he believed in, and now his mother is saying it should have never happened in the first place. It's like sacrificing yourself to save people, and then the people themselves say you should have never had something to sacrifice for. |
And I agree with you to a point. But again, the death of a child changes a person forever. Some people can't cope with it. No parent should outlive their children. It's awful.
|
I agree with Mat. Keep in mind these are human beings we're talking about, not just worker bees in society. She has every right to be pissed to that extent about the state of things.
|
This is kinda weird. In one topic, we're pissed at each other, but we're agreeing here. Strange what the difference a length between two topics on a web page can make.
Well, the thing is that shes just making such a big deal about it. Shes camped out Bush's ranch house for god's sake. She pestering him every day he's there. She's talking about how Bush ruined her life, look what's she's doing now! She's using everything she can to make him look bad and incompetent, and to make it worse, she won't leave him alone. I hope he sues her ass for slander and disturbing the peace. Then she and the press will finally shut up. And don't forget the 'peace prize' incident. That makes me sick. Someone who's riling up people to overthrow a government who's trying to do something to save people less fortunate than us is in the running for the Nobel peace prize? Sure. |

I already knew that. I have pages and pages of Necrum stuff that contributes to the fact you're not a prick. I was just arguing with you because I'm tired of people flaming each other over whos right or who really sees the truth. It happens enough on the news or at High School.

Seriously, out of ALL the things to bitch about – why this? I’m quite astounded by your repeated ignorance here. You don’t deserve such diplomacy. |
Kim is a poser!
http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...w093930D57.DTL Hmm, no radioactivity. That theory of a large amount of conventional explosives underground is starting to sound plausible. |
So. Uh. Quick question... Did anyone happen to notice that NK sent a nice little missile/bomb to Hawaii? Anyone? Because I only found this out earlier this week, and I'm a bit freaked out that few people know here (in our own friggin' country!) and it seems like no one really cares... Um. Almost bombed? That's kind of a big deal in my book.
Luckily (and obviously), NK's attempt failed, but who's to stop them from trying again? *Sigh* All we can do is set our terrorism rainbow to orange and hope for the best. |
Ummm... Was it to Hawaii or in the direction of Hawaii? How far did it get? Because it seems strange that I'd not heard of something like that.
|
It sure as hell couldn't be TO Hawaii, NK doesn't possess ICBM's yet.
|
It was in the general direction of Hawaii. It didn't get very far.
|
Thats like picking up a rock and throwing it in the General direction of the Pope and calling it an assassination attempt.
|
Yes. A highly explosive rock.

Gentlemen pleasure, your tone is very incivil.
Lets talk about the situation with Iran, http://www.pensitoreview.com/2006/10...this-saturday/ The shit will really hit the fan if they attack! |

Why hello nurse. I knew they wanted that bomb to go off! |
Of course they did. It's not like it actively harmed anyone. But what it did do is prove that they were right all along.
|
North Korea have got bored obviously, they haven't been in the news for a whole week!
Crisis averted! |
